About: i’ve taken care of a variety of different animals, including all sizes of dogs, all temperaments, and I’ve also taken care of cats that have all sorts of temperaments as well. I would be glad to make your fur babies as comfortable as possible. I just moved down here to Texas from West Virginia. I am on the hunt for a job, but I also wouldn’t mind doing this full-time if I could acquire the right personnel. If you’d like to show me your routine with your pets so we can keep up with consistency. I will give them the same love and respect that I would give to my own. On that note I prefer to use positive reinforcement and gentle training methods instead of physical discipline.

“This is the first time we've used Rover for house/pet sitting. Our first choice was Lana. Lana came to meet us and our pets and we felt very comfortable w/ her from the moment we met. She cared about our pets and was interested in their individual needs, likes, and dislikes. We were very comfortable going way w/ Lana here to take care of our fur babies. She kept in touch, sent pictures, and ask questions when needed. She also cleaned up after herself and washed the bedding, towels, and dog blankets before she left. We certainly didn't expect this, but it was GREATLY appreciated! You couldn't tell she was ever here as things were just as we left them. We will DEFINITELY use Lana again if she is available. About: My background includes fostering for the local SPCA, volunteering at a horse rescue/therapeutic riding lessons and supporting my senior citizens by helping care for their beloved pets. My routine with pet care during the week while working is walking at least twice a day with lots of cuddles and talks before leaving, make sure house is secure and safe and puppies are crated, special room or outside depending on safety/weather. Left with toys and/stress relievers. After work, potty, fetch, catch and walks. They depending on weather playtime until bedtime. Non working days, Walks are the same plus plan social play time or easy hike walk, or water play etc. Anxious days usual comes with lots of attention. Hyper days lots of fetch, catch and brain games. Even spa days of bath and brushing. Fresh water throughout the day and follow feeding schedules plus meds if needed. Illness or injury call parents and/or vet with permission transport to location that needed regular vet or emergency vet Safety and less stress is best for all. Safety checks and walk throughs house and yard daily. Monitor pets and be aware of their whereabouts. Check fur and skins at least once a day depending on season and living area. Follow schedule and requirements of the family. Communicate to family on daily basis and share pictures.

About: I’ve been surrounded by cats and dogs my entire life and have over the last 8 years been a pet parent myself! I currently have 6 cats and 1 sweet, cat-loving dog which has made me very familiar with different pet personalities, routines, and individual needs. My dog has also struggled with separation anxiety since he was first adopted and I worked patiently with him to help him feel more comfortable and secure. This assured me even more the importance of patience, consistency, understanding, and creating a calm, loving environment for animals who may need a little extra reassurance. I do live in an apartment but I am close to a beautiful dog park. I walk my dog regularly and we visit the dog park often.

About: I have had animals my entire life! 3 dogs and 5 fish. I walk my 2 very friendly loving dogs through the mountains or my neighborhood every night and I love for yours to join us! I’m also experienced in house sitting as I have done this for many of family friends. As well as senior care, due to my full time job at Home Helpers Home Care. I work full time Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. My weekends, early mornings, and evening are completely free! Early morning or right after work is when I walk my two dogs either in the morning or when I get home from work. In my own home I find patience is the key to working with dogs. The newest addition to my family is a rescue from a hoarding case and it has taken some time to help him heal from the trauma he has faced. With love, patience, and guidance he has had an amazing recovery and adapted so well to being with us! In the three years he has been with us all of his injuries, cuts, and bruises have healed. His coat is thick, full, and shiny. He is also no longer scared to eat or be around other animals and people.
