“I was gone for a week for a family reunion/vacation out of state. It was super hot, so I was worried about my Halley. Came home to a friendly, energetic, and well-hydrated cat. Apparently, Halley also requested lots of head rubs, so she warmed up to Madison pretty well. So happy I found someone I can trust with my fur baby.”

“Excellent communication and Kimberly did a great job with all of my requested items. Thank you for making my vacation less stressful! I will definitely use Kimberly again!”

I prefer to care for pets are their own homes to keep them happy and comfortable. I have a full household as it is, with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I will be able to let them out multiple times, possibly take them for walks depending on amount of dogs and sizes, play with them and love them.

About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 17 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. I live in Galena IL and am willing to cover all surrounding areas 😸 Pet sitting is my main job and my schedule is currently open. I'm looking to build my local client base and earn your trust :) I will care for pets in the clients own home. I will follow the care instructions provided for each pet. During overnight visits I will treat your home with the utmost respect.

“Sierra did a great job dealing with my antisocial Sunny. She's a one person cat. When I got back she was mad at me but well fed and healthy. I appreciate the way Sierra followed my instructions.”

“Mackena was the only one to get my dog to eat while I was away for 4 days. My mom (who watches her regularly) and another dog sitter couldn’t get her to eat. I think she was stressed. Mackena went out and bought new dog food which my dog ate! She even told me not to worry about the extra cost. Her response ‘I’m just happy to help’. She is definitely my go to!”

About: I grew up in a family that always had dogs, ranging from small dogs (like Chihuahuas) to big dogs (like German Wirehairs). As a child, I took on dog training experience through my local 4-H group and pursued that for a large portion of my early education career. Since then, I have always been a lover of dogs and have taken on many responsibilities, not only for my family dogs, but for my roommate’s dogs as well. Any care and love your dog needs, I would be happy to provide it! I’m available for pet care during the week and on weekends from the end of June through early September. About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 15. Over the years, we’ve provided both professional pet sitting and helped out friends and family—whether for short getaways or extended vacations. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom and an animal lover! 🐾 My husband and I offer boarding for most dog sizes, and our home is always filled with love, play, and plenty of tail wags. We live on about 3 acres in beautiful El Dorado Hills, complete with a creek and a securely fenced portion of the yard where dogs can run freely, play fetch, splash in the water, or simply enjoy the fresh air. This setup gives your pup plenty of outdoor time in a safe and natural environment. We have two friendly, medium-sized dogs of our own—Mochi, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, and Mila, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle. Both are fixed, gentle, and love having other dogs around. They enjoy playdates, cuddles, and are wonderful with our children (ages 17, 8, and 6). Our dogs are indoor dogs and have the run of our hardwood-floored downstairs. We use baby gates to separate carpeted areas, and there’s a designated, cozy sleeping space for your pup. Dogs are always supervised, both inside and out. We’re home full time, so your dog will get constant care, attention, and love. We’re also flexible—we understand that plans can change, and we’re happy to work with you to adjust as needed. We welcome dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Whether your pup loves fetch, water play, or just lounging, we’re here to make sure they have a fun, safe, and loving stay. If your dog has any special needs or preferences, please let us know—we’re always happy to accommodate! Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! 🐶 Sample Daily Dog Schedule Please note: Our schedule is flexible and may vary based on each pup’s individual needs, age, energy level, and weather. We provide a relaxed, at-home environment—very different from a traditional kennel. Morning • Wake-Up: Between 4:30–7:00 AM, depending on the dogs • First Potty & Play: Supervised outdoor time (weather permitting). Dogs are never left outside unattended. • Breakfast: Between 6:30–8:00 AM • Post-Breakfast Potty: About 30 minutes after eating Midday • Nap Time / Free Play: Dogs are encouraged to rest or enjoy calm indoor play. Puppies often nap more frequently. • Potty Breaks: Puppies are let out every 1–2 hours; adult dogs follow a more typical schedule Afternoon • Stimulation & Play Time: Between 3:00–5:00 PM we do light training, enrichment activities, or interactive play Evening • Dinner: Around 6:00–7:30 PM • Post-Dinner Potty: About 30 minutes after meals • Final Potty & Play: Between 8:30–9:30 PM • Tuck-In Time: After the final potty break, dogs settle in for the night ⸻ We focus on keeping dogs happy, active, and well cared for in a loving home environment. Our daily rhythm is built around play, rest, and affection—not rigid routines or cages. We have a fully fenced yard—about a quarter acre or more—where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. Our own pups are friendly, social, and love to wrestle, chase, and relax with other dogs. Because we provide a relaxed, home-based environment, we do not accept aggressive or overly reactive dogs. We carefully assess each dog’s temperament to ensure they’re a good fit for our home, our dogs, and our young children (ages, 8, and 6). Our kids are very comfortable around dogs and have been taught how to behave respectfully and gently with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Our top priority is maintaining a safe, happy, and stress-free space for every pup who stays with us.

“Chris is one of the best pet care takers I have had the pleasure of working with. He is one of few people that I can count on, and that I would trust to care for my dogs while I’m away. I trust him not only with the safety of both my dogs, but also in my home. It’s hard to find people you can trust nowadays and Chris is one of few! He leaves the house in great condition and follows directions perfectly. My dogs can be reactive at times and Chris handles them and my directions wonderfully. I feel safe knowing they are with him!”
