“Amazing! Linda is everything you could ask for in a kitty sitter and more - her updates and photos gave my husband and I peace of mind while we were out of town. You can tell she really cares for animals. She was prompt to respond to any messages and did a fabulous job - would definitely recommend 😸🥰”

About: I have cared for puppies and senior dogs within a doggy daycare setting. I have administered medication/insulin. I always make sure they use their energy. I currently am working part time at a doggy daycare. So I will have plenty of time to make sure your animals are cared for. I always make sure they are well taken care of and always get the utmost amount of love and care they deserve. Along with treats.
About: I have been an independent pet sitter for 18 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. I live in Galena IL and am willing to cover all surrounding areas 😸 Pet sitting is my main job and my schedule is currently open. I'm looking to build my local client base and earn your trust :) I will care for pets in the clients own home. I will follow the care instructions provided for each pet. During overnight visits I will treat your home with the utmost respect.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have been hands-on with daily care, including walking, feeding, and companionship. I currently care for my own dog, Tilly, whom I’ve had since June 2023, and I understand how important routine, patience, and clear communication are for a pet’s comfort and safety. I also have experience caring for cats. While I wasn’t able to have cats long-term growing up due to family allergies, I’ve cared for cats in shorter-term situations and have cat sat multiple times. I’ve provided care for a multi-cat household with detailed individual instructions, as well as regularly cared for my roommate’s cat, which truly helped me grow to love and understand cats and their unique personalities. What sets me apart is my calm, attentive, and detail-oriented approach. I take the time to read each pet’s body language, adjust to their comfort level, and follow owner instructions closely. I treat every pet as if they were my own family. I’m available full time with a flexible schedule. I’m home most days caring for my own dog, which allows me to provide attentive, reliable, and loving care for pets. I prioritize safety and trust by closely following owner instructions and maintaining consistent routines. I practice safe leash handling, stay aware of surroundings, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure. I respect clients’ homes and provide clear updates so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for.
“Madison provides a professional friendly and timely pet care service. Madison communication was clear timely and concise. Thanks for helping us with our pets knowing their safety is comforting as we leave our home.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments for years through friends, family, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, long walks, playtime, and providing lots of attention and affection. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, cleanliness, and consistency in their routine. I run my own business, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and plan my days intentionally. This gives me the ability to prioritize pet care, drop-in visits, and walks consistently. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and weekends with advance notice, and I always communicate clearly about availability. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I prioritize safety by ensuring doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. I respect your home, keep spaces clean, and provide updates with photos so you feel comfortable and informed while you’re away.
“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. Both me and my family are all pet people and I often watch my family and friends animals for them. I’m currently only working part time while in college and taking most of my classes online so I will have more than enough time to care for your pets. I treat every animal like they’re my own and always aim to respect everyone and everything involved in my services and make sure that your pets time without you. It’s the least stressful it can be.
“Mackena did a great job with my kitties ! We had a meet & greet prior to my trip so she could meet the girls and get a "lay of the land". She was great about providing lots of wonderful pictures and detailed updates the whole time I was away. It gave me great peace of mind to know they were getting positive attention. Would definitely book with Mackena again!”

About: I grew up in a family that always had dogs, ranging from small dogs (like Chihuahuas) to big dogs (like German Wirehairs). As a child, I took on dog training experience through my local 4-H group and pursued that for a large portion of my early education career. Since then, I have always been a lover of dogs and have taken on many responsibilities, not only for my family dogs, but for my roommate’s dogs as well. Any care and love your dog needs, I would be happy to provide it! I’m available for pet care during the week and on weekends. Whether you need drop-in visits or overnight home stays, I’m happy to help, just please be sure to book in advance so I can plan accordingly! I kindly ask for at least one day’s notice for cancellations. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Please note: I do not offer dog care in my own home as I live in an apartment. However, I’m happy to provide in-home care at your residence for both dogs and cats! For dogs, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, including regular walks, outdoor playtime (at a nearby dog park or fenced yard), and bathroom breaks every 30–60 minutes based on their needs. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you provide to keep your pup happy and comfortable. For cats, I offer attentive and respectful care, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and affection (if your cat is the cuddly type!). I understand feline behavior and know how to give them the space or snuggles they prefer. Whatever your pet needs, I’m here to help while keeping their routine as stress-free as possible!
“Jessica did a great job looking after my fur babies while I was out of town. She made sure to reach out if she had questions and gave my kittens lots of treats and play time!”

“Nora is great! I always know my Finley will get such good attention. He loves belly rubs and treats of carrots and she always makes sure he gets these! i want to wish her a very Merry Christmas.”

“Genesys was great! If I need someone to check on my little guy while traveling again, I know who to rebook. Genesys was reliable and communicative, and also diligent when attending to unexpected snags in the beginning - such as my cat's bumpy first day without me there, and figuring out schedule / communication with a 6 hour time difference. We hit a good flow, my cat warmed up to Genesys quickly, and I came home after 2 weeks to a happy little fellow!”
