About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of pets. In my country I was a veterinary assistant and animal care volunteer. Be part of animal rescue foundations I have from 8 am to 11 am to attend to pets after prior coordination. It is also possible during the weekends and holidays if necessary It is important to exercise pets daily with a walk so they can stay happy and avoid stress. Pet grooming is always necessary to avoid problems with its fur and skin. Maintain a balanced diet and hydration

About: I always had pets growing up and I got to watch them grow as well so any pup or senior I can take care of. I had a senior dog who needed medication growing up so I’m familiar and comfortable with that aspect! I just finished school and I’m a server at a restaurant! My hours can vary, but I can check on your fur babies before I go to work and after I get off work! I take care of clients pets usually at their home just because I have a small apartment and a cat! But I follow any house rules given to me by my clients and always watch when pets go outdoors because I know anything can happen in a split second.

About: I have a love for pets. With 48 years experience training pets and caring for pets of all ages, breeds and tempoerments. I have worked with many veterinarians around Kern Country and have extensive background in animal health and care. From the age of 9 to 18 I was involved in 4-H where I won achievement awards and acknowledgement for my handling and caring for pets. I worked in a dog and cat boarding facility for 15 years feeding, cleaning and caring for pets while their owners were away. I have also assisted in pet grooming. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own. I spend all my money, time, and energy on my pets. I also have a diabetic dog so I am well versed in complicated pet care. I currently only have a seasonal job so. I am available basically always. I go to school monday through wednesday for 1-2 hours daily currently. i have a fenced in yard currently. All of my cats are indoor cats but one, he’s a stray that lives in a heated and cooled house in my driveway. I feed my dogs twice daily and administer insulin twice daily. Cats are fed twice daily unless hungry then they are given wet food.

I also have experience with aggressive pets and I know how to handle myself in difficult situations. I feel like this is especially important for dogs that require walks because I am extra aware of other dogs in the area and I am more attentive to make sure there aren’t any quarrels.

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and now that I’m in the BEST years of that life (retired) I am able and ready to share all of my love and experience with new dogs and people! Although I can’t stay the night in your home, I CAN drop in, feed, play with, give snacks, even administer medication if needed, walk, and when it’s time for them to go to bed, make sure they are all tucked into bed. I can assure you that your fur baby will be loved and comfortable while your away- They will be treated with the love I give my own! As a retired person, I am living the dream, being a stay at home mom of fur children…let me love yours too! I am retired but my day starts with my three dogs at 5 in the morning, Everything I do revolves around them. They go out to use the bathroom then eat and come back in to sleep until around 7:30 then our actual day begins. Each Doodle goes on a mile and a half walk then my little pug, Sophia goes on her walk. Shes a senior so she only goes for as long as she can. This is a daily routine. They LOVE being outside so we spend almost all day outside on the patio playing when it’s nice…. They all love riding in the car so EVERYBODY at the bank, CVS, Dewars,Starbucks knows them by name. Where I go, they go! They have their spots in the car and they know their places. My kids are grown but I am definitely NOT an empty nester, they are my life and fulfill me 100%. For their safety with all the craziness happening in the world, as much as they love being outside, they are NEVER left outside when I am not home. They are brought inside and have been crate trained since they were 7 weeks old. It is their safe place and they love their crates. It’s where they sleep and where they eat too.
