About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets when you are not able to. I myself have grown up with dogs my whole life and would pet sit my neighbors animals all the time. Now, I have my own little zoo of 2 dogs, 3 cats, and some geckos. I spent one year in a vet tech program so i know the basics of animal medicine, 6 months taking care of the marine mammals at Shedd Aquarium, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Zoology. I understand it is hard to leave your pets unattended for hours on end and stressful when you come home to an accident but they can't help it. I want to help alleviate that stress for you and your pet by giving them the best care possible. I can only provide check-ins and walking services. I am looking for some supplemental income to help support my little family. I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old but have recently gotten a full time job in the Bloomington area. I work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but I'm able to stop by during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feedings, and check-ins when needed. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
