“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

About: I have always grown up with dogs. I personally have 6 dogs that are all working breeds. I am a kennel assistant and dog groomer in training for the past three years. I absolutely love what I do. I currently work a little more than part time but not quite full time. I am willing to work with you on my schedule and make it work as long as your willing to work with me also I only do house sitting for boarding because I have two reactive dogs that don’t do well with new dogs. About: My sister and I fostered all types of dogs and cats through the Greater Birmingham Humane Society since 2020. Since I have moved to Calera, I now assist locally with CHILTON County TNR. As of now, I take care of a dog and cat, which were both rescues. Im currently working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and do remote work Tuesdays and Fridays! I also have availability for weekends, just ask me about specific times! I have a big fenced in backyard with some big trees that allow some good shade. There is also a back porch with an awesome fan because we all get hot in this Alabama heat. I have 2 friendly dogs that can help your dog get some energy out or they can be separated by crates which I can provide, depending on your preference.

About: I’ve had 10+ Dogs, 5 Cats, 5 Quails, 6 Birds, 5 Fish, and 5 Hamsters I’ve had so many pets it’s unreal most likely over 45+ pets in my whole experience of living and I’ve only been here for 18 years! I’ve bathed them, walked them, cared for them, trained them, and even gave them the best time of their life before they hit rainbow bridge I still think of them to this day and hope they’re happy for me trying to bring my experience to the world! I have graduated and now I’m out of school looking for pets to take care of! I can’t drive yet because I don’t have my license so you’d have to do dropoffs I can only watch them for a period of time and not after 8:00PM since it’s not my house but I hope you can trust me! I always give them love and attention whenever needed I always make sure they’re bug-free, fed, watered, walked, and bathed when needed they don’t need meds so I’m not too experienced with that so that would be new to me! I’m always down to learn new things and how things work! But my fur babies are my top priority and will always be taken care of as needed

About: I'm a college athlete and I believe in quality care. I would keep your dog out of the cage and on furniture if you allow it. I do not not really have a routine besides going to practice or the gym to workout. I'm out for summer due to school being out. I treat my pets and others pets as their my own and would cuddle up with them every chance I get. I also have two other friendly and family loving dogs myself.

About: Fairly new to Rover, but have a ton of experience with animals and would love to sit your dog. I send multiple photos daily and give updates multiple times per day. I'll love your pet like you love your pet! I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I’ve had my current dog for 12 years. She is a senior dog (Morkie) with Cushing’s and experienced a torn CCL in her leg last year. I give her two different medications twice a day for the Cushing’s, so I am comfortable dispensing medicine as needed. I personally potty trained her and taught her numerous tricks including sit, shake, other hand, roll over, bang (play dead), speak, and many others. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule so I’m home most days. I love dogs and this is a great way to spend time with dogs and meet some new people in the area. I have a privacy fenced in yard in a small neighborhood. I have one old but friendly fur baby. There are only two adults that live in my home. My home is non smoking. I am punctual and love animals, so I’ll take excellent care of your baby or babies. Please ask me any questions you may have regarding safety and care for your pet(s)!

About: Honestly love dogs and cats they always will be my favorite. They always had a weak spot on me I was always into having a dog or cat. But i love all animals just want them to be comfortable with me. I love walking to the park , make sure they fed , make sure they feel happy while with me , always make sure they feel loved and cared about and as well as being comfortable with me again. I love dog and cats as well as other animals. I just want to be better and build in this type of industry. Its pretty easy being involved in something like this honestly. I would want more time with the dogs alone. Truly they fun !

About: I've worked with hundreds of dogs over the past 10 years. I specialize in behavioral rehabilitation so i work a lot with rescues and shelters to improve their chances of adoption. I have been professionally training for over five years and have impressive results, especially with potty and kennel training! I have great experience with senior pups and pups with disabilities. I have never turned away a dog from receiving care from me, no matter their problems! My schedule is centered around my pups. I am here with them full time except when i have to leave to do daily walks or check ins!
