About: I grew up having dogs and cats for pets. Back then you also ended up with puppies and kittens! I always had cats, my favorite friend, Kitty, who was 17 passed away last year and now I just want to be a temporary friend and caregiver. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for my friends and family, and am now retired so I decided to try Rover. I have a nice yard and live in a residential neighborhood with wide streets. I have also taken care of pets by stopping in and feeding friends cats, scooping the box and giving them some attention so they aren't too lonely while their owner is gone. I've had experience giving medicine to my sister's older cat and making sure the other, younger one did not eat it! I’m retired so my schedule is very flexible. I do go to the gym or walk outside which takes up a couple of hours at most. This time is flexible also. If you need someone to care for a cat or cats, I can stop in pretty much at any time. I have a safe residential neighborhood and would have your dog on a leash if we walked or were outside. I’ve also cared for cats at their own home, stopping by to clean the litter box, feed them and give them some attention so they won’t be lonely.

We had special requirements as we have two young kitties who were needed to keep separated in a different part of the house from an older cat as the kittens had not yet been fully vaccinated. The kittens got into mischief and made a mess. Kaylee cleaned it up. She vacuumed up stray cat litter too. The older cat is an indoor/outdoor cat who loves to be outside during warmer months and can be very demanding requesting to go out.
