Temperaments: Great with friendly, shy, or energetic dogs — I always meet them where they’re comfortable. Special Touch: I take time to build trust with every dog, so they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Im a full-time dog sitter on Rover who truly loves what I do. Caring for dogs isn’t just a side job for me — it’s my passion and my everyday life! Your dog will have plenty of room to play, relax, and feel completely at home here! I live on three acres of fully fenced property, giving every pup tons of safe, open space to run, explore, and enjoy the fresh air. “Adrienne did a great job watching our two puppies! She was easy to communicate with and worked with us when we had car trouble and couldn’t pick them up when scheduled. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had animals in my home since I was born. I have had small to large dogs, and believe that each requires love, nurture and one to one time to live the best life. I am adamant about taking my dogs out for exercise regardless of the weather, and thoroughly enjoy cuddle time! Any special needs your pet has, I can accommodate, whether medical or for comfort. I am flexible in my care routine, and open to feedback. I work from home and have a very flexible job that allows me to play with and care for my animals at ease. I have a free schedule in the evenings and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and love to play with my animals outside. I have several dog beds and they find comfort on the couch!
“Yuliana took care of my baby for 2 times during the day for doggie daycare. I knew she was trust worthy when my fur baby was so excited to come and see her again. She responded fast and gave photo updates. Will definitely book with her again when in town!”

“Jordan was such a great caretaker for my puppy, Mavis. I appreciated her communication and the photos she took of their day together. Mavis came back a very happy camper. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone needing wonderful care for their pet.”

“Beth is awesome. A true Dog Mom! She loves what she does and it shows. Every time I bring Nash for a doggie day care visit he’s so excited to see Beth and play with her own dogs. It’s a great day for him and he comes home a little tired but very happy. The perfect combo! I highly recommend Beth - your four legger will love it!”

About: Hi! I am Shoshanna and am a Star Sitter! Discounted rates for Summer! I am a mature, responsible, faith based woman, a pet owner for most of my life and boarder for almost two years!!! I have had many happy clients and repeat clients with dog boarders and drop in visits, with all positive reviews. I live near MTSU. I love walking dogs leashed around my large yard or on the sidewalks. I have owned dogs and cats for over 17 years, grew up with them and have been using Rover for almost two years as a dog boarder/walker and drop in visits for other animals - cats, tortoises. I love animals and will take care of them as my own. I have had many repeat clients since I take such great care of the dogs that board with me and the dogs love their staycation, free roam, no kennel unless needed by the owner. Check out the reviews. I work part time, a few hours in the mornings or evenings and then am home. I like to leash walk the dogs around the yard or sidewalks (10 minutes a few times a day).. For walks, I keep dogs on the leash at all times for safety so can use an extended leash if that works. I do have a 30 foot and 45 foot secured leash line that I can place a dog on so they can walk around the yard, which will monitored by me, not left alone. I have a nice 2 bedroom home and dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, feeding is kept separate for each dog, and I monitor feeding times, water bowl is in the living room, and I have plenty of poop bags. Also for safety, I have an AirTag that can be placed on the collar especially if your dog is a runner etc. Safety first for your fur baby. Plus I have plenty of outside space, a large yard to walk them around and across from my home with a leash plus a 30 foot or 45 line for the yard so can be free to roam, and I’ll be out there with them.
“Maggie and Michael are the kindest, most attentive pet sitters. They always treat our dog like their own and are so patient with his little quirks. Thank you for always loving on Rudy!”

“Loved all the photos. Cyndie was super responsive. My pup had a great time. It was my first time using Rover and was a little nervous but Cyndie and her family were terrific. I would definitely rebook with her.”

About: I've taken care of animals starting from a young age. I love animals and enjoy having them around and caring for them. Animals are a significant part of my everyday life. I spend my time home caring for my dog and children. It's a very important part of each day. Between feeding them each meal to walking them and playing with them, they're heavily integrated into our lives. I have a friendly dog who loves to play. I also have two children who love animals but are also good with boundaries considering these pets will be in an unfamiliar environment. I personally care for each pet that comes into my home, but my children will be present.
“Julianna was very responsive, flexible and timely, it was a pleasure to interact with her and Tim. My dog is quite timid yet he was always happy to get in the house and backyard of Julianna. The dogs they host are all friendly and well behaved, Poppy will be back!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, and I’ve owned pets my entire life. I also worked at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, where I cared for and worked around horses and other animals daily, giving me hands-on experience in a professional animal care environment. In addition, I have experience as a veterinary technician, where I assisted with handling animals, monitoring their health, administering medications under veterinary supervision, and helping keep pets comfortable during visits. I’ve also studied animal health and care through school, which has given me a strong understanding of pet behavior, safety, and basic medical needs. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work for myself, which allows me to create a flexible schedule and provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Because I have control over my hours, I can often accommodate last-minute requests, extended visits, and consistent routines. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by providing dependable, compassionate care and keeping you updated every step of the way. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With experience as a veterinary technician and years of working with animals, I know how to recognize changes in behavior, safely administer medications if needed, and provide calm, compassionate care. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, you can expect plenty of love, attention, exercise, and photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.
“Catherine was great! Communicated really well. Not only did she accept with less than 24hrs notice but was also incredibly flexible when I shifted my pick up time several times.”
“Charlie loved his time with Parker. He looked so content the entire car ride back. Parker was very communicative leading up to Charlie’s stay and during. I think Charlie enjoyed sniffing around the fenced in yard and exploring with other pups.”

About: 🐐 The Pet & Farm Nanny: Constant Care & Custom Visits 🐾 Hi y’all! I’m Ariel. I offer a unique "Nanny" experience for your pets, whether they are staying with me or in the comfort of their own home. I recently moved to Lebanon and love providing the reliable, heart-centered care that every animal deserves—from senior dogs needing meds to hobby farms needing a helping hand. How I can help: • At My Home (The "Workday" Companion): Since I work from home (10 AM – 7 PM), your pet will never be alone! I offer a cozy, attentive environment in my apartment for smaller dogs or cats who love constant human company. • At Your Home (Mornings & Weekends): I am available for early morning walks, drop-in feedings, and farm chores (milking goats, feeding horses, collecting eggs). I also offer Overnight House Sitting on weekends to keep your pets in their familiar routine! • Specialized Care: I am fully comfortable with senior pet care and administering oral medications. My Commitment to You: I stay within a 15-20 mile radius of Lebanon to ensure I’m always close by. You can expect high-quality communication, plenty of photo updates, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing a "Nanny" is looking after your family. Note: Due to my apartment setting, I am unable to offer puppy training/boarding, but I’m a pro at cuddles and routine! As a project coordinator working from home (10 AM – 7 PM), I’m the ultimate full-time companion! Your pet will have my company all day long while I’m at my desk. For house calls, walks, and farm chores, I’m an early bird and a weekend warrior! I’m available for drop-ins and farm visits before 9:30 AM or after 7:30 PM on weekdays, with completely open availability on Saturdays and Sundays for longer visits or weekend house-sitting. Safety is my top priority! When pets stay with me in my apartment, they enjoy a calm, pet-proofed environment with plenty of cozy spots to nap near my workspace. I’m a pro at maintaining strict routines, whether that’s a specific feeding schedule or administering essential medications for senior pets. I am an avid walker, so if your pup is with me, we will get plenty of exercise. When I’m at your home or farm, I’m hyper-vigilant about double-checking gate latches, ensuring fresh water troughs are full, and keeping a 'Nanny’s eye' on everything to make sure your home is as secure as your pets are happy!

As of August 2026, there are 484 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Statesville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Statesville commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 484 sitters in Statesville, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
