Hi! I’m Shelbie, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all personalities. I live in a peaceful rural area with plenty of space for play, walks, and safe adventures. Your furry friend will get the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away! Dog Boarding (In My Home – Female Dogs Only) For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I only board female dogs. My Australian Shepherd has a strong personality, and keeping our home harmonious means I cannot accept male dogs. Female pups are always welcome, and they’ll receive lots of love, playtime, and cuddles in a safe, home environment. I work full-time from 8–5, but I’m happy to stop by during my lunch break for local drop-ins to take your sweet guy or girl out for a potty break, walk, or some love. I’m available after 5 PM, all day on Wednesdays, and all weekends. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love—whether in my home or yours. While I don’t have a yard yet, I live close to a dog park and provide plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and exercised. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, play, and downtime. Safety and comfort always come first, and I make sure pets get individual attention, affection, and enrichment. In your home, I respect your space while ensuring your pet feels secure and relaxed in their familiar environment. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I have had at least one dog to take care of since I was 10 years old, and my extended family has always had numerous additional dogs. I feed, give water to, and entertain multiple dogs, of multiple sizes, on a daily basis. I have been responsible for a variety of breeds, as well as both indoor dogs and outdoor farm dogs. Raising sheep and working on horse/cattle farms throughout my middle and high school years has taught me how to care for all kinds of animals, big and small. I am currently waiting to ship out for Navy boot camp, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m available most days of the week. If overnight care is needed, my roommates are able to look after my dogs, which allows me to stay with pets for extended periods when required. I care for pets based on what they need most. Sometimes that means simply being there to keep them company, letting them out, feeding them, and spending time playing or relaxing with them. Other times it can mean giving a little extra attention and monitoring for pets who need more care.

About: I have adored animals for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, and fish! I'm committed to providing the same level of love and care for others that I provide for my own pet, a wonderfully wiggly cocker spaniel. I received two degrees from the University of Nebraska; a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Two of my favorite activities include spending time outside, and giving lots of love to animals. I am currently working to build a strong client base and have lots of time to play, walk, or keep your pet company. Have any questions? Ask away! The safety of your pet is my number one priority. On walks, I practice situational awareness and always keep an eye out for off-leash dogs or other potential hazards.
