About: I love all dogs! If there is a dog at a social event, I am the kind of person that you will find playing with the dog! I've been around all kinds of dogs my whole life. I've fostered and eventually adopted a rescue pup. I have experience with small dogs, medium dogs, and even very large ones! My last pup was a Great Dane named Onyx, unfortunately, he crossed the rainbow bridge last year. I miss him dearly. We haven’t adopted a new pup yet so I’m hoping to spread some love to pups that need to be walked! I will take care of yours like my own! 💛 I work a hybrid schedule. (Some days virtual, some days in the office) Just let me know what your pup needs and we can figure something out! I’m happy to meet your pets prior to caring for them, if that makes everyone more comfortable. All I ask is to be made aware of any health or behavior concerns so that we can all be the most safe.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, growing up on a family farm in southwest Minnesota with sheep, horses, hogs, dogs, and more than a few barn cats. As a dedicated 4-H and FFA member, I gained hands-on experience in showmanship, agility, obedience, and daily animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as an animal care technician for the Richmond SPCA in Virginia and Companions Animal Hospital in St. Cloud, MN, caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. My duties included walking, grooming, bathing, administering medications, and providing enrichment. I hold a Silver-level Low Stress Handling certification with 20 hours of specialized training. These days, I care for my two senior English Springer Spaniels, maintain a community fish tank, and regularly watch my family’s pets and farm animals. I love hiking, being outdoors, and making sure animals feel loved and cared for. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or extra affection, I treat every animal like family. I am a free-lance graphic designer and baker, otherwise I have been a stay-at-home mom. Both kids are now in school full time, so I find myself with time to spare. I cannot walk my own dogs, due to their mobility restrictions and age, so why not walk yours! I would be caring for your pet in your home and around your neighborhood through walks, drop in visits and play times. I want to get to know you and your pet so that we know that we will work well together. I want you to feel safe having me caring for your furry family member and best friend, and I want to feel safe and comfortable with your pet(s). About: With 50+ years of experience caring and loving my own fur babies. I have loved and cared for many breeds, all away from a German Shepard, Shelties to a Chihuahua. Trust me the Chihuahua was more of a "so called guard dog" than my German Shepard. LOL I have more recent experience with senior dogs, but those senior dogs started out as puppies. As we all know every dog has their unique temperament. I don't hesitate in establishing clear leadership and positive relationship with your pups. I recently semi retired and I'm finding myself with a lot more free time. Once I got my own honey do list done. I was finding that I was spending to much time on the couch. It's been two years since I sent my little man over the rainbow bridge. Free time, too much sitting and missing my little man terribly. I needed activity and the love and joy that dogs give unconditionally. I have been sitting now for over 3 months and I am LOVING it! Your pup will be treated like my own. About: Long time pet owner, trainer, and sitter. Experience with many household pets. Verified assistance dog raiser/sitter with Can Do Canines. Previously owned mastiff, bully breed dogs, hounds, huskies, also cats, gerbils, rats, zebra finches, fresh water and saltwater tropical fish. I'm available evenings and weekends during the school year. Additional daytime availability from June to September. Northfield, MN daytime visits can be negotiated as needed. My single level home has a fully enclosed six foot privacy fence and dog doors out to the yard. Splash pad and wading pool available in the warm months.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: I'm familiar with several different sizes and breeds of pets. Some dogs, some cats. I'm used to always having a pet around. I enjoy spending time with pets. I'm currently doing what I can for work on my own. I'm hoping pet care can become another thing I do. Let me know what you need accomplished and when. I will do my best to keep your pets on a similar schedule as they are used to. I will also do my best to keep the pets comfortable.

About: I have taken care of 3 different dogs over the past 10 years. i worked on training them soon after my parents would bring them home and I really put in my time and effort towards my pets. I am currently working part time so I would have lots of time to spend with your pets! Whenever I am not working I will be available. I have multiple crates for your dog if needed, play pen,and an electric fence, and many dog toys. My dog is a two year old cavapoo and he is a certified therapy dog so he is very calm and friendly.

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. My passion really began when neighbors would start asking me to dog sit for them. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. I currently only work 3 days a week for 4 hours so I’m VERY flexible! You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!

About: I have owned both cats and dogs, and I love the care that comes with owning these selfless creatures. Whether it’s playing string with cats, or going for long walks with energetic dogs, it’s a joy to interact with each of their unique personalities. I’m a dog park regular, a cat favorite and have experience with dogs from training puppies to working with elderly dogs. My schedule is, at this time in my life, rather open. I’m not in school right now, and I am lucky to be able to do pet-sitting as a steady means of work at this time in my life. During the week, I typically have a few consistent dogs that I walk for, as well as a few overnight pet-sitting jobs a few times per month. I’d love for you to be one of them! Because of this, it makes it easier for me to stay with the pet for a majority of the time, if desired. If I need to leave, it’s usually just to go home and cook my husband dinner, do a few errands or to walk/check on another pet. It all depends on your pet’s needs and habits. Feeding, bathroom and attention are the basics, but besides that I can be extremely active, going for long or several walks/day and lots of playing with toys, to more relaxed, following your animal’s needs. Hanging out with pets is as much for me as it is for the owner I’m working for and their pet. I find lots of fulfillment through spending time with animals, whether it’s my own or Rover clients. I have met many families on here that were strangers at first that eventually became a consistent friend/client.

About: Through either the companion animals my wife and I have welcomed into our home, or through the work I did at the local animal shelter as both a kennel attendant and volunteer, one of my few passions in life is providing care to and spending time with animals. For a number of years, I lived with companion rabbits—our time with them taught me a lot of patience, and gave me a heightened sense of when something might be wrong with their health. For a few years we lived with a special needs cat, and we currently are living with an Olde English Bulldog—all of these animals are of course different, for myriad reasons, but they also have a number of similarities in the personalities that if you spend enough time around them, you'll grow to see and understand. The time I spent as a volunteer and attendant at the shelter was a great lesson in how to be efficient and effective in tending to a number of animals at once—sometimes upwards of 20 cats that all needed their areas cleaned, food and water refreshed, and sometimes given medication. As a volunteer I worked with especially shy and frightened animals who had recently been surrendered and were not adjusting well to life at the shelter. This, like my own time living with rabbits, was the chance to learn more patience, and work with an animal until they open up more. I am, like, very available to care for your animal. Friday and Saturday I have a commitment in the morning, but would be ready to check in on whomever after 11 a.m certainly, and I would like to think that overall, I am relatively flexible and can manage time well. In my own home, I more or less put an animal's needs ahead of my own. If I were to check in on an animal of any kind in someone else's home, I would be respectful of their house rules, and also try to get to know the animal within their own space and interact with them there.

About: I have experience in walking dogs, daycare, puppy training, senior dog care, wound care and boarding. I can teach your dog basic commands and skills. I am kind and compassionate to every animal I meet. I will give your dog the adequate exercise and care they need! I am available anytime during the day for your pets. I try to update my calendar daily as of now I am pretty open for bookings! I have a fenced in yard for you babies to play. I have one fur baby that will keep your babies company. If dogs recall is good I am willing to take them around are 5 acres of land to run free and play as well.

About: I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

About: My whole life we have owned dogs, I was raised training our own dogs and taking friends and neighbors dogs out for walks and play dates! I have taken care of lots of family or friends dogs.
