“Chelsea did a fabulous job taking care of our dog. We also appreciated her quick communication and willingness to watch our dog as a last minute booking and to add on a day when we wanted to extend our trip. Highly recommend.”

“Great experience and so very thankful to her for fitting me in during holiday times. This was my first time using the Rover app and I would definitely use Tawny again!”

“Kelly's service is always our go-to when we need to board our dog. She loves it there, big open space with other friendly dogs. She always comes back well taken care of, looking clean (for a dog who just had a blast on vacation!!) and so so happy. We appreciate Kelly's flexibility and willingness to work with us on drop off/pick up, and she sends us regular updates on our dog's stay which help put our mind at ease. I know when we book with Kelly our dog will be well taken care of!”

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, a lifelong Bloomingtonian and best friend to every dog I’ve ever met! I am a stay-at-home mom to a preschooler and I also help manage a national non-profit rescue for French Bulldogs. I have deeply loved many bulldogs in my lifetime, and as such am very adept to handling brachycephalic breeds and their particular needs. (Though it should be noted I tend to regular-nosed breeds with the same loving care!) As a former medical assistant, I am very comfortable caring for animals with moderate medical needs, those with disabilities, seniors, those requiring medication administration, etc. I have cared for hospice dogs, dietary restrictions, Mega-esophagus, Colitis, deafness and total blindness. You could say that special needs are my specialty. I have over 20 years of experience helping folks take care of their animal babies, from Pugs to Cane Corsos, several kitties and even some reptiles in between. Dogs have always been my best friends and luckily, lots of humans pick up on that when they meet me. Most of my experience has been private house sitting and in-home pet care for coworkers for periods of a few hours up to a few weeks. I am new to Rover, but very experienced. I currently work for a dog rescue remotely and am otherwise a stay-at-home-mom to a preschooler. I also provide daily care for one resident special needs rescue French Bulldog. I care for pets in the way that is safest for them, regardless of where that is. In my home, dogs are under my constant watch. We live far from the road (about .15 miles) but pets will be kept leashed beside me outdoors since my yard is not fenced .
“Lindsie provided excellent care and attention for my little boy Otto. She was very good about sending me photos and reassuring me he was doing just fine with her. Otto is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer and used to just the two of us being together but he did very well with Lindsie. I highly recommend considering Lindsie as a sitter.”

“Stephanie saved us at the last minute when the plans I made for my dogs fell through. She was flexible as things continued to change and my boys came back happy and healthy!”

“Katie was amazing with our great pyr! Super flexible with drop off/pick up times. She even brushed out our baby girl after three weeks of camping (oh the Swiffer tail is real!!!!). She was one tired fluff when we picked her up. Highly recommend if you need someone to watch your fur baby 🥰”

“Danielle was so awesome, she arranged a meet up with us beforehand so our dog would know her and her lovely dogs when he went for his sleepover! Danielle sent us messages and photos of Austin's stay which made us feel so happy 😊 Austin cant wait for his next sleepover at Danielle's!”

“Kim took such good care of Dutch! I would use her 1000x over again. She was so patient with him he came from a rough situation and we weren’t sure how he was going to do with having to go to a sitter that he didn’t know but she took her time letting him warm up to her. I can’t thank her enough.”

“Victoria is very nice and I really appreciated that she met me and our pup prior to the date of the stay. She sent me plenty of photos and I could tell that our pup was made to feel like she was "home". No complaints at all about the services we received!”

“Tasha and Leo were very sweet. My dog was really nervous around their bigger dog, but they really helped her feel comfortable, and Tasha gave me a lot of updates to make me feel comfortable as well”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stanford
This was Dottie’s first time being boarded and we learned that she annoys the f out of other dogs when not under the watchful eye of mom, so we will probably seek different options next time. All that to say, Tawny was very communicative and took great care of Dottie while I was away. We got home and she is already fast asleep so I know she had a very engaging weekend. The outside area is amazing for the dogs and I think if you have boarded before and know your dog does well without owner supervision with other dogs, this is the place to be.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Stanford home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Stanford.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Stanford sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
