I have even lived on a horse ranch for 2 years, helping caring for nine horses and a goat - so no pet is too big, too small or too sassy for me. About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart as I have had several dogs since I was born that were all well loved. I offer loving, reliable care with plenty of play, cuddles, and attention to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just some company while you're away, I treat every animal like my own. With experience, patience, and a calming presence, your pets will be in safe, happy hands if you decide to choose me to be your sitter. I currently have a lot of availability as I am not in school, but without a job. Thursdays I dont have any method of transportation other than walking or biking so I will only accept walking distance jobs on those days. I'm available any time between 10am and 7pm for non-overnight jobs. When caring for someones fur baby, I make sure to follow the owner's instructions carefully, keeping the pet’s routine consistent. I provide fresh food and water, ensure plenty of playtime, walks, or cuddles depending on their needs, and keep their environment clean and safe. I also send regular updates and photos to reassure the owner. Most importantly, I treat their pet as if they were my own, giving them love, patience, and attention throughout my stay.

“I can definitely say that after being gone for eight days I was very appreciative for what I came back to. I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. There's nothing better then coming back from a vacation with well taken care of dogs. Would definitely recommend for worry free dog sitting”

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, and even birds! Animals tend to be very calm around me thanks to my demeanor. This is good because it allows me to provide quality care for them. I am a full time student and I work for a private contractor fabricating and installing granite, tile, and cabinetry. This means I won't be available most work days until at least 5 pm, but after that point I can provide the best care to all pets all the way until the next morning when I would have to leave for school or work again. I can't bring pets to my home but at my clients home, I can provide the best care. Walks, playtime, mentally stimulating games and more!

About: I currently work at Hightest kennels part time. I’ve also fostered 14 dogs/puppies for Hightest kennels. I am very good at taking care of dogs at all ages. I also follow your instructions very well. I have taken care of puppies, dogs with disabilities and, senior dogs. I have potted trained many dogs and have been successful every time. I am very patient with animals. I am also going to school to become a veterinary assistant. I am currently working part-time at Hightest kennels I would be able to work after Hightest and on my days off. I usually work 2-3 days a week. I will fit pet care in whenever I am not at work. At my home I have two labs that love being around other animals. I have a fenced in area for my dogs to give them time outside. In a client’s home I want to know if your dog has a routine and keep your pet on their routine. I take my pets out many times a day if they are not in their fenced in area. I can also create my dogs if wanted.

I don’t currently offer boarding since one of my dogs isn’t neutered. Your pets safety is my biggest priority! I want to care for your pets in the ways you do, to insure they’re as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I am open to any schedule, services, and needs your pet has!

About: I come from a family of animal lovers and have always been surrounded by either a new puppy, an elder dog, or a dog in their prime just looking to have fun. A lifetime of experience, and 7+ years of professional experience, has introduced me to dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have no problem with shy guys, energetic puppies, or elder dogs who just need a friend. About: I’ve had and cared for a small range of animals my entire life. We’ve always had some combination of dogs, cats and birds for as long as I can remember. I work as a teachers aide during the day but that certainly leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets needs. Any weekday I can be available after 3pm I will diligently follow any and all instructions to ensure the safety of your pet! I have an endless amount of patience and will be happy to accommodate any way that I can.
