About: I do not take payment outside of the rover app or any other forms of payment! I have taken care of animals big and small for most of my life; goats, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, rabbits, fish, snakes, rats, geckos, tortoises, pigeons, and probably more. I have pet sit for many friends and family members, and now that I have a cat of my own, I know how much trust one must put in someone to watch their pet. I have also cared for animals in a professional setting at Madison Children's Museum (where I cared for chickens, pigeons, crested geckos, turtles, tortoises, and rats) and was trained in their care. I am used to feeding my cat and cleaning her litter box every morning. Along with this, I sweep because she is a menace who launches her litter across the room. I will treat your pet as if they are my own family, talking to them as if they can respond, and giving them all the love I have. I will also follow any special instructions you have for me, and try to keep your pet on their preferred schedule - I want you both to be as comfortable as possible.

About: I grew up with dogs and I love being around them and giving them the attention they deserve. I'm really active and love going for walks so having a dog companion would make it more enjoyable. Right now I have really good availability because I want to hopefully become a firefighter but I have to wait for the next academy. I'm a very caring and understanding person and it seems that my energy relates to dogs well because everywhere I go dogs seem to like me. I feel comfortable around dogs and love playing with them. Since I grew up with dogs I understand the importance it is for them to have a great experience when there owner is gone. Looking forward to meeting your dog. I’m currently workin part time so I will have plenty of time to play and walk your pupps. I love being outside so helping people out by giving there dogs the proper exercise and attention they need. I love dogs so I will treat them like they are family. About: I've helped take care of dogs for friends and family since I graduated from college in 2016. I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury, and apprenticing to become a dog trainer. I have multiple friends that train dogs professionally, my personal dog sees multiple trainers regularly, and I learn new things every day. From obedience to behavior to nutrition, I value all of the practical use, knowledge, and love I can apply to any dog I get the opportunity to work with! I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury. I have a lot of free time now, and I've started to fill it by gaining as much knowledge and practice in professional pet and sport training for dogs and cats. Rover is a way I may be able to help out my community by applying everything I'm learning for pets and people that need someone that cares about their animals the way I've cared about animals my whole life. At home, I have two lovely house cats and one rambunctious puppy. My cats like their space and will ask for love when they want it. My puppy needs structure in his day to balance activity, learning, enrichment, and rest. I am more than comfortable providing the kind of care any client wants for their furry family members. Whether that's daily enrichment, getting out in the world, or learning an off switch at home. I'm familiar with excited jumping on guests and earning trust from nervous or shy animals. I have Ruffland crash tested kennels in my car and can provide enrichment and new adventures if requested! If you don't have a fenced area around your home, and you are comfortable with it, I do have 20ft long lines I can use so the dogs get a chance to be outside to play and do their business while also ensuring their safety. I've always been an animal lover, and now that I have free time in my life, I want to provide knowledge and time for other animals and their humans that need a helping hand.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.

About: What sets me apart is that pet care has always been personal for me, not just a job. I grew up caring for cats and dogs, and some of my favorite childhood memories come from that. I've since fostered puppies and kittens through the humane society and pet sat for friends, family, and their friends' cats and dogs over the years. One example that stands out: I spent three years as the regular go-to sitter for a family's cats whenever they traveled, handling feeding, litter box duty, and plenty of love and attention. About: I grew up riding horses and having small dogs around the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. Today, I'm lucky enough to have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you're away. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science, with Animal Science as one of my three minors. Through my education and years of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, health, and daily management across a variety of animals. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious and reactive animals, and animals with additional medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each pet receives the care they need. About: Dog Walking: Can be over thirty minutes (based on your preference), but additional charges may apply. I love taking care of all dogs and cats! Both of us could use the exercise anyways, and they will come home as happy as ever! House Sitting: Available for more than one night. Your pet will get my undivided attention the whole time I'm there (Plant care services complimentary). I am a working sitter with my own pup, so if overnights stays are your preference, then I may not be your flavor, and that’s okay! Drop-In Visits: Available for more than thirty minutes (additional charges may apply). Your pet will get lots of love and pets while you're away! I can do these around my work schedule! It varies so please feel free to inquire. Sterling, KY, Tues-Sat. It varies with my clients, so check in to see if I can work you in!! I do have my own doggy, but I can always work yours into my schedule as well! Overnight stays are not preferred. This will depend on my husbands schedule, as he is gone 24hrs every third day (first responder). Please please please keep in mind that I am a working sitter, so I will not be available to stay 24/7. If that’s what you prefer, than I’m not the best fit for your needs, and thats okay! If your dog cannot do potty breaks for more than 4 hours in between, I’m not the best fit! While I’m at the house, your pet will have my undivided attention and I’d be happy to give any special care needed. I do adore dogs and hope to give back any way I can to other pet owners in need. I know we can’t always turn to friends/family with our pets, but you still want them to be treated as such! This is just a fun way for me to help pay my student loans down :) I care for pets based on your needs/preferences. Depending on the instructions you give me! We love play time and walks :). I do contract work so my schedule is flexible most of the time. Generally up late so don't mind odd hours. Also available for early mornings as well, schedule can usually made to accommodate. I have reliable transportation and can travel whenever needed. I'm comfortable and experienced in giving pets medicine or injection if need be, and I'm willing to adapt to whatever needs your pets may have.

About: I’ve loved caring for my friends and family’s pets for many years, so now I would love to love and care for your pets as extra income I work full time M-F, often weekends I am available for overnight stays, or throughout the week on my lunch for a 30 minute walk I take care or your pets and your home like they are my own.
