“Amanda did an amazing job with our pets! Her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail was top notch. We knew our pets were in good hands while the wife and I went on a weekend vacation. Amanda was able to give one of our senior dogs his insulin shots with no problem. All of the animals (two dogs and two cats) really enjoyed her care and company. HIGHLY recommend and we will book her again.”

About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!

“Emily knew Tater from a previous boarding facility which was a great plus for me! She kept us updated the whole visit and I felt confident that Tater was well taken care of during the drop in visit. 10/10 would and WILL book her again :)”

About: Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the joy of caring for family and friends dogs when needed, giving their dogs a loving home away from home. I work from home so I have flexibility of time and a lot of love to give to your furry friend! Available for boarding any day of the week. My fenced-in back yard offers a safe environment for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Dogs allowed on furniture. I have a two year old lab who loves other dogs! I can also crate if needed.

“My cat Felix loved Antonia’s drop in visits. He seemed super happy and enjoyed the playtime. You always hate to leave your pets when traveling, but it’s nice to have such an amazing sitter be able to make sure your pet is well cared for.”

“Communication with Danielle was prompt, thorough, and clear. She took good care of our cat and kitten and gave them love and attention. No problems or concerns whatsoever. I will definitely request her services again next time. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was young. I enjoy the time I get to spend with them. I love these guys truly. I currently work Monday through Friday. About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:
