About: I've loved and taken care of dogs since I was a child. I offer lots of time with your dog, to ensure he doesn’t miss you too much while you are away. My neighbor had 10 dogs,and I ended up taking care of them daily, taking them for walks, playing with them, training them, and of course snuggling on the couch.I've had experience with small dogs such as Jack Russells to big dogs such as German Shepherds. Most dogs tend to love me, as I give into their puppy eye look when they want me to throw the ball one more time or get an extra treat. I will do my best by keeping your dog safe by keeping he/she on a leash whenever we are out and about and keeping doors shut from escape artists. I also have experience with cats, birds,fish, and farm animals. I grew up with horses, goats, cows, chickens, etc. Feel free to ask any questions! I will answer as soon as I can! I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. I follow your instructions exactly — feeding schedules, medications, special routines, off-limit areas — nothing is too detailed. You'll always receive photos and updates during every visit so you know your baby is happy and well cared for.

About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:

About: I have experience caring for all age ranges of cats and dogs. I have 3 years of animal welfare experience previously working in a shelter and i have always naturally been a huge animals lover. I have the ability to read animals body language really well. I connect quickly with every animal I meet! I have experience with different kinds of energy levels as well. If your dog needs a hike and does well in the car; I’m your gal!!, If they just need cuddles while we binge a tv show I can do that too! I have experience with bunnies, chickens and birds too!! I have a 3 year old dog named Ace who came to me as a puppy. I raised him and have trained him to be off leash, sit, stay, paw, and heel. Im currently a Pharmacy Technician so i do have medication knowledge. I've raised and had many animals since the age of 10, I currently have cats, dogs, exotic animals and reptiles! Pet care fits amazingly into my schedule, as I do have a full time job but i have plenty of time before, after and even during to care for your furry companion. About: I've worked with dogs and cats professionally for over ten years now and also have experience with training. I love getting to know each dog and learning what they like best, whether that’s a quiet walk in the park or some snuggles on the couch and fetch in the backyard. I have experience with all types of dogs and always treat them as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog trainer so that will give me plenty of time to play with your pups! I’d love to gain regular clients that I can provide reliability for. I always work to ensure they safety of your pet and would love to know what you expect of your dog (whether that’s not jumping/pulling on walk, ect) and with a knowledge in training I can help reinforce the behaviors you like to see! “This was our first time using Rover. Riley was helpful in explaining how it worked. She watched our cat for several visits for two days. For each visit she sent information on how the visit went. Unfortunately our kitty would run and hide after greeting her so she couldn’t get many pictures. She even went and found him and sat trying to convince him to come out! He ate well during her visits and she was kind to clean up the dirty cat bowls each time! It’s also very comforting knowing Riley has experience working in a vet clinic.”

Mondays are my busiest day of the week, so I can’t fit much into that day, but you can always still message me and I can see what I can do! In a client’s home, I always follow your pup’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits, that might include letting them out for a potty break, refreshing food and water, giving medications if needed, and spending quality time playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company. I make sure to leave everything tidy and send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. For dog walks, I focus on safety and fun. I use secure leashes/harnesses, keep a close eye on the environment, and adjust the pace to match your dog’s age and energy level — whether that’s a brisk stroll or a relaxed sniff walk. My goal is always to make sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve while giving you peace of mind.
