About: As a certified dog trainer, I provide structured, positive reinforcement-based training tailored to each dog’s needs. I also offer safe and enjoyable walks, ensuring dogs get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m skilled at reading canine body language and behavior, which allows me to provide calm, engaging, and stress-free experiences for each dog I work with. Whether it’s training sessions, hikes, walks, or enrichment, I treat every dog with care, understanding, and empathy. My client hours are Tues.-Fri. from 12 to 8 pm (excluding holidays). Saturday hours are available upon request, if I’m able to accommodate. 😊 As a professional dog trainer, I love spending quality time with pets each day. In addition to caring for my own animals (two dogs, a cat, and several chickens!), I work with shelter dogs and training clients, giving me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I love providing safe, attentive, and empathetic care, whether it’s through training sessions, hikes, walks, or drop-in enrichment activities. I offer in-home training sessions, Adventure Training sessions, hikes including transport, neighborhood walks, and drop-in enrichment activities, always making the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet a priority. All training is based on positive reinforcement (R+) methods, ensuring dogs feel motivated, engaged, and confident while learning. During hikes and walks, I make sure each dog is leashed, closely monitored, and walked in a safe environment. Communication is a top priority—I provide updates on behavior, progress, and next steps, so you can rest assured that your pet is in capable, attentive, and compassionate hands. All hikes and walks include loose-leash reinforcement.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for almost my entire life. I got my first puppy when I was 5 years old and have loved dogs ever since. I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, taking the dogs for walks, feeding them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I’ve also cared for dogs with anxiety and rescue dogs who sometimes need patience and a little extra care and attention I currently work from home running my own business and have a flexible schedule. This is where we get to know each other and we talk through your pets needs and what you are looking for in a dog sitter/walker. About: Hey I’m Caroline! My husband and I live with our 2 rescue dachshund mixes, Bert and Reggie, in Taberg, NY. I am currenly accepting new clients for drop-in visits and walking. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
