“Rebecca responded quickly to all of our questions and was patient. We had never put our dog Izzie in a kennel before. The photos of their facilities gave a good sense of what the dogs were provided with inside and outside, and photos of Izzie Rebecca sent to us on the days Rebecca was caring for Izzie were fun and reassuring. Lastly, their roaming farm animals were a delight. We will kennel our dog with Rebecca whenever we are in this part of the Columbia Gorge.”

“It is best that when we need a sitter when coming into town that we contact them again. Our boys have sever separation anxiety, but see to do well. Thank you again?”

“It felt so great to leave my pup with Laura - from the moment I dropped her off I knew my pup was in safe and loving arms. Loved the picks of my pup on a walk and grateful for Laura's flexibility as my drop off and pick up times were changing. Definitely recommend Laura for your pet.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have been the go-to dog sitter for friends and family for the last 15 years. Whether it's energetic puppies or mellow seniors, I know how to tune in to each dog’s unique needs and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you're away. We live on over 6 acres of land with a full acre securely fenced in, so your dog will have plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore safely. When your dog stays with me, they’ll get more than just walks and meals—they’ll get affection, playtime, and a calm, dependable environment. I treat every pet like family and I’m happy to follow your specific routines, preferences, and training methods to keep things consistent for your pup. Whether it’s daily updates, photo check-ins, or managing special needs, I’ve got you covered. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available to care for pets seven days a week. Your dog will get plenty of attention throughout the day, and I’m always nearby for walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I have a three year old Chessie who loves new friends. I adjust each stay to fit your dog’s personality and needs, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines, including medications or crate training.

About: Since moving from Taiwan to U.S., I bring my dog as well. Yes, she is from Taiwan. I only can say I learned a lot from her. From food, body care, cutting nail, deworming , walking, training, or showing. She is my child. Of course will do the same thing to other dogs. I'm a software engineer. I work from home. Easy to adjust my schedule to complete the things. I usually walk my dogs 2-3 times a day (depending on the weather). Most importantly, I will spend time with them. I will check the environment first, so that I can know where I can walk or play with the dog. Keep the distance with other things unless I feel save to let dogs get close.

“Char and her family were great! Our boy felt right at home with them and returned to us happy and tired from a wonderful hiking outing in the Gorge :) would definitely use them in the future!”

“I dropped off my greyhound at her house on the way to a Willamette Valley tour. She took very good care of him and sent me some pics of him chilling on the couch. Very professional, would def use again if I'm in the area.”

“I could not ask for a better home away from home for Trixie than Danielle's!!! She is my absolute trusted go-to, and Trixie's second family. I really appreciate that she is flexible when possible about drop off and pick ups, and is so good with updates. 10/10 for her genuine care, her giant yard, and being just so reliable and awesome.”

About: I have always had a special connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them! When I go to someone’s house, you can usually find me hanging out with their dogs and cats! I have had many dogs and cats since I was a child (of all breeds and sizes). Right now I have 8 fur children - 6 cats and 2 Golden Retrievers! I have always formed a special bond with each animal I meet. Over the years, I have volunteered at various animal shelters caring for cats and walking dogs. I also used to pet sit for family friends while in college. I work from home full-time so you can rest assured that your pets will never be lonely as I am home most of the time on weekdays. I also have experience caring for animals with special needs, including oral medication administration and injecting insulin shots. I can’t wait to meet and care for your pets! Notes: While I wish I could care for every dog, I have to make sure my cats are safe and not under any stress. Because of this I cannot provide care for breeds that generally have a high prey drive. This includes Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and German Shepherds. Since I have cats in the home, I can only take dogs who get along well with cats and do not chase them. Thank you for understanding! Schedule: I have a very flexible schedule with full availability to care for your pets! If your drop-off or pick-up falls on a weekend, I typically try to schedule this for early morning. Potty Breaks: I have a fully fenced backyard so I can let your dog outside as often as they need. Environment: Since I work from home, I am home most of the day to spend all of the time with your fur children! I treat each pet as if they are my own and carefully follow instructions on how to best care for them!

“Ashley and her husband watched Juniper on their awesome property in the gorge for me all day. Juniper had a great time walking with them off leash and even having a playdate with a neighbor dog. Thank you!”

“Charlie was great! I felt calm, and comfortable leaving my Millie , for the first time ever, in his care. He sent the best video of her having a blast running and playing. Highly recommend Charlie!!!! Can’t thank him enough!”

“Jacqueline was AMAZING! I can’t thank her enough for taking care of our pup. Everything from the scheduling to the day of, the pickup and drop off. She loves what she does and it shows. Jameson ( her beautiful shepherd) was a great play mate and it made our pups stay all the more exciting. Thank you Jacqueline!”

About: I have experience watching big dogs with high amounts of energy and implementing their training, not professionally, just the basics, like not jumping on people. I have gotten compliments for when the dogs have come home well behaved and taken care of. I partner with my brother so that we are able to take care of your pets at any time! I currently am taking online college courses and working online. I am available to take care of your pets throughout the day and on top of that since I partner with my brother on this, he is able to also care for your pets too! He has done a lot of research about dogs throughout the years and caring for them is one of his favorite things to do! I have a trail right near my house which is a great place to take pets on long walks. There are two cats in the house who would love to be introduced to new friends and some small caged animals that can provide a source of entertainment for your animal to be curious about.

“Tracy and her family took great care of my big guy! Plenty of attention and play time in the backyard, and good communication throughout. No reservations about having her watch him again.”

“Mackenzie was fantastic with our Moseley and Mochi was such a fun new friend! The pups were fast friends and had a great time together. So happy to have Makenzie in the Gorge for pup playdates that allow us some time to do things where our pooch cannot join us, all while knowing she is having as much fun as we are!”

I work from home and have flexibility. Willing to travel short distances locally. Happy to fit my schedule to meet the needs of your pet. I have a small fenced yard and love to go on walks. Household includes 2 kids who ABSOLUTELY love animals and would love to help.

“Grace has watched our lab, Cannon, many times and while he's excited to see us, I can tell he's also sad to leave :) He has the best time with Grace's dog and is treated like a member of their family while staying with them. They have plenty of space for the dogs to run and I love receiving photos of a tired out Cannon at the end of a fun day.”
