Sandy is our 10 yr old Lab - has some health issues - diabetic - and i really appreciate the amount of knowledge and care she gives our girl. Pat fully understands her need for consistant eating times, insulin shots, her need for special help going down stairs outside. She watches her carefully and called to alert me that she was showing sign of possible UTI - she was correct and treated immediately. Sandy loves the attention and enjoys the little dogs that like to run around , up, over and around her! Sandy is now more of an observer than a participant - but fully enjoys the fun. Thank you Pat for making us feel so comfortable when we are away -we can relax when she is with you....i really appreciate the love and kindness you give your guests. ”

“Laura and her partner have a large and nice outdoor space for the dogs! When my elderly but high energy dog, Dimitri, went to stay with them, he promptly became part of their pack! Laura sent me pictures of him going on walks with the other dogs on the trail by her house. I can tell he was very active while he was there because when I picked him up, he was out! He said hi to me, but then was soon snoring loudly. One quick note: given my dog is a largely indoor dog (we do not have a backyard), I did have to clean him off a bit once we got home. But I can tell overall he had a great time!”

About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs on Fridays but they would be alone from 2pm-5:30pm. I would prefer to have them crated at our house because I would hate for a dog to get into something while we are gone. After 5:30pm I am home from work. I can also do drop offs after 5:30pm if you don’t want them alone for a few hours. Pickup would be Sunday night or Monday morning. If you need pickup on Monday before 12pm let me know and I can adjust my calendar. I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

I could tell from the photos that she took such good care of her, Navi was smiling, and really warmed up to Maellin, which she doesn’t do with everyone. It was over the 4th, and Navi was quite nervous about the fireworks. Maellin took every measure to ensure her greatest ease and comfort, bringing her into their bedroom and turning on some background noise to help drown it out. Maellin is also a wonderfully sweet human; she will 100% be my first choice anytime we need care for Navi.”
