About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I believe that building trust with both pets and their owners is key to providing the best care possible. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home. I have open availability and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs At our home, I have a spacious 1.1-acre property with a beautiful front yard, a peaceful pond, and a large backyard all of which are unfenced. Pet guests enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in these open areas. I always meet with the owner ahead of time to learn about the dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. From there, I create a care plan that helps your dog feel comfortable and keeps their routine consistent while they’re with me.

About: I’ve been a dog owner since I was in middle school and rescued Lily from a shelter. She was an anxious but loveable Australian Shepherd who needed lots of exercise and attention, and that’s exactly what I gave her for her 17 years of life. Over that time I also owned multiple cats, and looked after the dogs of friends and family. I love spending time with animals and I know what it takes to keep them happy and healthy . I’m currently working remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to animal or house sitting. Since my setup is mobile I can spend as little or as much time as is needed and at your convenience. I have a large outdoor property as well as access to local trails for walking. I’m an active person but I also know how to stay safe when caring for an animal in a rural or busier environment.

About: I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always had a special bond with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have taken care of senior pets, and multiple dogs as well. About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

About: I've been fostering dogs my entire life and at the age of 15 started working at a dog daycare up until I moved to go to college. I have been in probably any situation you can imagine around dogs so I like to think Im prepared for anything! I am currently a full time student at FAU. About: I’ve been around and taking care of pets for just about 12 years. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, fish, and a tortoise. This has helped me to learn and understand how animals need things just like humans do! I love animals just as much as humans! I am currently in Bath and looking for a little side work and some time with furry friends! My schedule varies as I work full time as well, but I am more than happy to coordinate and figure out a time that works for you! When looking after your fluffy friends at your home, I like to take some time to learn their normal patterns in their own comfy space, and just get comfortable with them! I currently volunteer with the ARLGP, and love the skills I learn every day from the dogs and other animals there. Whether your dog is the easiest to walk, or needs some special attention (and strength!), I am here to help! Your pets may come back with better manners than when they left :) I am a business owner, and am often home at my property in Topsham enjoying the sunshine or local trails with them. Despite my own travel, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible! We have a small portion of our yard that has a light fence, we usually just walk the dogs or take them to the nearby dog park. Our little guy is an ex-escape artist, so we are always double checking, paying attention, and increasing security on walks / outings! Safety is a huge priority!
