About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. “Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! I'm so grateful our paths crossed and I can now feel comfortable leaving my littles when momma needs some me time! Thank you Rich and Eileen!”

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

My husband & I live in a very lovely neighborhood in West Linn (Barrington Heights) and have a large, fenced back yard for your dog to enjoy. We have a very friendly Mini-Aussie named Nova and 3 dog friendly cats. Both my husband and I are now retired and we enjoy providing your pet with lots of attention, affection & love! If your pet needs any special attention or meds please let me know and I am happy to accommodate! Your pet will receive lots of personal attention, without a doubt! Please consider us for your pet care needs! PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance reasons: I am not able to accept dogs that are un-neutered, aggressive, or of a specific breed such as : Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier, German Shephard, Belgian Malinoise, Rottweiler, Doberman, Akita, Chow, Dalmatian, Bull Mastiff, Malamute, Catahoula Cur, etc. I grew up with many of these breeds so please know that it pains me not to be able to accept them! My main objective is always to maintain a safe and harmonious time for all of my pets, my other clients pets and yours as well! I'm currently working Part/time M-F at a nearby school in the morning, but I'm home by lunchtime. My husband is semi retired and is often home in the morning hours when I am at work. I am almost always home by 1pm! I have a fully secure large fenced yard to keep your Fur-baby safe and secure. My dog is VERY friendly and really enjoys having "friends" over for visits!
