About: Ive worked with animals over the years, cats and dogs. I used to volunteer at the small shelters in this area, caring and helping with adoptions. I have had my own Yorkie for the last ten years that I treat like my baby. I would love to extend my caring nature to take care of your animals too! Im currently in online college classes, so I am home every day. I can cater to your pups as needed, and I also have a backyard they can play in. If they need a daily walk i can provide that also! About: Hey y'all! I'm a Midwestern gal who has loved getting to know the pets of the deep south! I've been an animal lover my entire life. So, about 10 years ago, I started working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and it was the experience of a lifetime! It's easily the coolest job I've ever had. I've gotten to learn a lot about pet care. It's a special feeling to get to get to know and watch pups grow up. I worked under an animal behaviorist in DC for several months before ending up down here in the Bossier area! I’m looking forward to building another sweet community of pets🥰 At home I have an ancient pup named Bella! She is an 18 year old beagle who really just wants to hang out. Thankfully my schedule is very flexible to the needs of your pet! I have found that watching animals can be a really mutually beneficial activity. For example, watching someone’s pup gives me a good excuse to get out of the house and go on longer walks! I am always willing to locate nearby dog parks which can be fun spots for outings! About: I’ve cared for animals for 10+ years as a shelter worker, vet tech, vet assistant and pet parent myself. I’m knowledgeable on diabetic care, senior care, pediatric training and socializing and much more! I’m able to fit your pets care anytime needed due to my open schedule! I’m usually up by 6:00AM to start caring for my mini zoo but able to get up earlier. Your pets safety comes first to me. If any meds are needed they will be given on time every time. About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! About: Being liked by animals is a huge deal to me; I take it very personally. I love all animals, and I always get excited when I meet a new client that has a breed I’ve never sat with before, or a pet that is not as common. I have currently only taken care of dogs, cats, and fish as pets, but I would love the opportunity to expand this. I do have puppy care experience, and senior cat & dog care. I have kept a few puppies whose owners were in the process of training them. I was shown the commands they were working on and told what motivated the pets to comply. I have also done sitting jobs with a deaf dog, and with blind cats & dogs. I recently fulfilled a contract for a nanny job I previously held. This has freed up my schedule quite a bit, as I am currently in between jobs. I am free most weekdays and weekends. Making sure pets feel comfortable and safe is a top priority for me. I love the companionship they give, and I thoroughly enjoy giving it back in return. I have no complaints about cuddles, or playing fetch 100 times! My goal when sitting for your pet is to offer them the same level of comfort as they would find if you were home. I know some pets struggle with stress/anxiety when their owners leave so I make it a point to make my presence warm and inviting so that they see a friend rather than a stranger. I implement any suggestions and/or directions that are given to me, and keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible; this including feedings, outside time, walks, medicines, even disciplinary practices*. I want your pets to have quality care, so that is where my sights are set. I look forward to meeting new friends!
