About: I am in incoming second year at Colorado State University majoring in animal science and looking to become a Veterinarian. I have sat for family and friends pets since a very young age and have enjoyed all of my experiences. I worked at University of Wisconsin’s vet clinic for two years in High School taking care of and cleaning up after various kinds of animals. I am looking to gain more experience while I am home over the summer and caring for animals is something I love to do! I am available almost everyday over the summer with exceptions of some vacations. I am very flexible on the days I am in town as I don’t have another job or any other prior commitments. I can do anything needed including walking, feeding, cleaning up after, spending time with, or playing with animals. I would not be able to take any pets at my house since I have two dogs of my own but I would be more than willing to stay over at owner’s homes! really anything needed involving animal care I can provide.

About: I grew up with a Westie since I was 7 years old. I am a foster caretaker and trained to foster dogs by GRRoW (the golden retriever rescue organization of Wisconsin). I also have two roommates who grew up with dogs and are 3 years into veterinarian school at UW-Madison. Pet caretaking fits into my routine best every weekday for an after-work walk (5pm CST or later). I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I have more free time those days of the week to watch an interact with your pet during the day. I have an apartment with a large open, yard good for playtime. My neighborhood and apartment complex is extremely dog friendly. There are plenty of non-busy street sidewalks and parks within walking distance for the dog to enjoy and run around in.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They ranged from puppies all the way to them becoming senior dogs, and they all came from very different backgrounds. I am especially good with senior dogs. My childhood dog eventually had severe arthritis and needed medication and some extra help. I would do anything for her that helped her feel more comfortable! I also puppysit for some family members so I am also used to the craziness a puppy can bring! I am currently available most days at any time until August 11. My cat does need medication at 8pm, but any other time of the day works for me! I can care for your pets however you need in your home! Whether it's going on a walk, playing outside, or staying inside, whatever is best for them is doable!

About: Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes, along with house cats, rodents and reptiles. Particular experience with medium and large size dogs who are anxious/reactive. Rates lowered while I establish myself on Rover. I work from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention when I care for them (and they'll probably get a nickname or two). Walks, bathroom breaks, visits to the dog park, and lots of pets and ear scratches all fit into my daily and weekly schedule with ease. I am willing to book outside of my typical radius for an increased fee to offset mileage, gas costs, and time. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs in particular, so am used to reading what a dog needs and wants with a close eye. I take care to make sure that a dog is comfortable with me, that I respect their boundaries, that I respond to their needs, and that we remove ourselves from any situation that might upset or overwhelm them. I often ask a pet owner for details about their dog's usual routine, any particular habits they have, their behavior on leash, and what gives them comfort. This helps me better respond to what the dog is sharing about their needs.

About: Hi, I'm Meghan! I grew up on a farm, so knowing the responsibility of caring for animals is of great importance to me. I grew up with dachshunds and German Shepherds, so I have experience in caring for both big and small dog breeds. I really love animals, so much so that I almost became a vet. By caring for others' animals, it allows me to get in touch with my passion for furry friends! I have also had a nearly blind dog, who I'd have to prescribe eye drops to, and a dachshund whose back legs no longer worked, so I do have experience in working with animals with disabilities as well. I look forward to assisting you with your furry friends! I work full-time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but I work remotely on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and am usually able to step away to take your furry friend for a walk or just to check in. I always ensure that the animals were fed in the mornings and evenings, and got their mid-day treat. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 10 years old starting with learning how to train show dogs and showing my pups in the ring. Then pet sitting all the neighborhood pets. Over the last 3 year I have been working at a boarding and daycare facility and then a grooming facility. During those years I have learned a lot more about dog behavior and dog language and how to stay calm In stressful situations.I know how to administer medication properly and do insulin shots. I love working with nervous and anxious pups and help them open up and be happy in all environments. I also love working with pups that need some extra care and support threw health issues or injuries. I’m currently working Full time at a dog Grooming facility, I’m allowed to take my pet sitting pups to work with me to play and have fun as long as the owners are ok with it. I’m usually gone between 5-9 hours during my work day depending on my schedule. I take my pup to the dog park few times a week and she loves to play with everyone. About: Hello! Throughout my childhood I have loved and cared for our family’s cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Currently, I have two dogs- a Bassett hound and German Shepard mix. We love to go on walks, cuddle, and wrestle. I work in healthcare and am comfortable caring for all living things. I work 3-4 days per week. During the week, I am available after 2:30pm. Some Fridays, I’m available all day. Just ask me about weekends! My schedule changes week to week so please don’t hesitate to ask. Our dogs love to go on walks and then lay in the sunshine for a good coat and teeth brushing. At our home, we have an underground fence that has worked very well for the moderate prey drive temperament of our dogs. For walks, we use a harness and a gentle leader. We enjoy taking our dogs on Wisconsin road trips. This past winter we went to the UP for snowshoeing- the dogs love hoping through the snow.
