About: I have taken care of cats for over four years. When looking after cats, I always make sure that they have fresh food and water, that their surroundings are clean, that they are healthy and behaving normally, and that I check on them through the day. I also make sure to play with them everyday for about an hour, depending on how much they like to play, either once or twice a day. I pay attention to their moods and activities to make sure that they are not only happy but also entertained, without overdoing it. Overall, I am keen on ensuring that the cats are happy in their absence.

Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

I enjoy spending my time with furry friends. I'm a in-home caregiver to my mom so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I have weekly events on Sundays and Wednesdays, but can easily work around those times. About: Not only have I pet sat for a variety of different animals, I also worked at a pet store for a year. I worked with so many different animals (cats, dogs, fish, small animals, reptiles, and birds) with all different personalities. About: For the past 8 years, I have been pet sitting for various friends, families, and neighbors. This has included taking care of dogs and cats, making sure their well-being is taken care of. I have experience walking dogs and making sure they are mentally stimulated throughout the day. I have also had experience with cleaning up any potential messes the pet might have made in absence of me or the owner. Currently, I work as a server while on summer break from college. My schedule at work is pretty flexible and I don't typically work whole days, so for the most part I am free on days I work except for 4-5 hours at the max. Other than that, the days I have off will be cleared and dedicated to the animal I am watching when I am scheduled. Whenever I watch an animal in another home, I always make a short sweep through the house wherever the animal has access to in order to ensure no messes were made. Whenever I leave, whether for a walk or for an extended period of time, I double check to make sure that the house is locked up and secure through any means of entrance. I am available for regular correspondence with owners and reply in a timely manner.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
