About: I’ve cared for cats for 3 years and have been a devoted parent to a monk parakeet and guinea pigs and two orange cats. “We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 or 11. I have had a dog growing up and am very responsible for caring for them and giving them what they need. I love all dogs and would love to give your dog the exercise it needs! I’m currently home from college and would love to work with pups over the summer! It was quite challenging but it’s fun! When I came here, we adopted Maggie and Lyka when they were still puppies. Maggie is a 6 year old Pug and Lyka is a 2 year old Boston Terrier. I can do oral medication administration, I have had a senior dog experience and can provide daily exercise for your pups. My schedule is flexible so I can usually take on new dogs at a moment’s notice. I will update you regularly with pictures and videos to give you peace of mind during your time apart. I am working from home so most of my time will be caring for your fur baby. Daycare drop-off no earlier than 6:00 am and pick-up hours anytime in the afternoon. We have a large fenced backyard and our two dogs, Maggie (Pug) and Lyka (Boston Terrier) are very good with all dogs. They love to play and will keep your fur baby company during their stay. The dogs are in and out all day using 9 steps. We have security cameras and limited access to our property.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. “Cub had an amazing time staying with Lee for an extended weekend. We got daily updates and pictures/videos, and Lee has a great fenced in backyard for dogs to run around and play in. He was also very flexible with drop off and pickup times which was extremely convenient.”

About: I have owned pets a good portion of my life. Dogs, cats, fish, birds. I currently own a beautiful and sweet Siberian husky. I hired a pet boarder for her and loved rover for pet care options. I work from home m-f. Weekends off. My weekly schedule is flexible. I also have a teenage son who is around to help if need be I have a flexible schedule and can be accommodating to most schedules. I’m most interested in boarding and day care. I crate my dog at night and get her outside multiple times a day. We usually get to a dog park 4-5 times a week
