About: I've had dogs and cats in my house practically my entire life and have had the opportunity to watch friends' pets on multiple occasions. I have now been a part of the Rover Community for about 3 years. I am comfortable walking dogs, feeding and bathing and cleaning up after pets, as needed. I have a full-time job working 7 hours/day Monday-Friday so I am only available for weekend sitting services, unless your pet can be alone for long periods of time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns. I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking in client's home after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. These would include potty breaks, feeding, walking and bathing client's pets as needed. I am willing to stay overnight as well. I can not watch pets at my own house as my own cat does not do well with other animals.

I also keep your home clean and maintained while you’re away! I currently work full time M-F so weekend work is preferable, I am also available after 330pm most weekdays. I can be in your home with your pets on weekends, full time, beginning Friday late afternoon. I provide care in your home where your pet is most comfortable. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide playtime and snuggles and also enjoy walking when caring for dogs. Additionally I also make sure to keep communication open, should I notice something out of the ordinary or just want to share a moment or photo! I am sure to respect your home during my stay, in return I ask the respect is reciprocated by providing a safe, clean environment and open communication.

About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs with very different breeds, personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’ve grown up around pit bulls and retrievers and am currently a proud Chiweenie owner. One thing I’ve learned from caring for dogs is that understanding their behavior is just as important as feeding them and taking them for walks. I’ve had experience recognizing when a dog is frightened or overstimulated and giving them the space and reassurance they need. For example, when my childhood dog became overwhelmed after a stressful interaction, I took him somewhere quiet so he could calm down. During thunderstorms and fireworks, when he would tremble with fear, I would bring him somewhere comfortable and stay with him until he settled. I’m also the person at family gatherings who naturally ends up keeping an eye on the dogs—making sure they’re getting enough exercise and attention while also making sure younger kids give them appropriate space and treat them respectfully. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, bathing, and overnight care. I enjoy both tiring out an energetic dog and providing a calm presence for a nervous one. I’ve also cared for cats and generally find that they warm up to me pretty quickly. Most importantly, I will enjoy taking the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routines, and boundaries. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me. I am available throughout the day. I wake up early and care for my own dog before 8 AM every day. I can come by whenever is needed or stick around if that is preferred! I start by taking any instruction from you to heart regarding your pet's personality and habits. Outside of that, I generally would like to start by having a joint meeting between me, your furry friend, and their best friend: you! That way, they can establish a level of trust for when I come by on my own. I follow the routine that you would like me to follow while remaining alert to your pet in the present, just like with my own pup.

Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. About: I’ve dog sat and house sat for friends before and they have trusted me with their house and animals, generally for 1 week but sometimes for longer or shorter. I take very good care of the home and animals, listen to instructions careful and apply those instructions in order to be helpful. I will always be upfront and honest with everyone and I always communicate well. I currently work as a full time server at Texas Roadhouse and live by myself. I am not married nor have any kids yet so it’s just me. My schedule is pretty flexible in the morning to early afternoon due to having to serve at night generally. I don’t mind coming in to help before and after work. I don’t have any pets in my own home because I can’t due to landlord rules but I grew up with animals throughout my whole life. I play with the animals if they want to play, pet them, feed them when they need to be fed, take them on walks (dogs), just have fun with them!
