“Brooke was willing to step in last minute for visits with my dog poppy and I am so thankful! I could tell Poppy loved her and I will definitely be booking with Brooke again!”

“Very kind, wonderful with dogs - mine fell in love with her right away. Very responsive and flexible and reliable. I'm so happy I met Heather and that I get to have an awesome person take care of my fur babies.”

“I’m SO incredibly thankful I found Jennifer! She takes such good care of my boy when I’m at work. She even treats him to “spa days” by brushing him with a brush she bought for him. She is sweet and patient which is needed with Stryker since he takes a few meetings to warm up to new people. She keeps me updated and lets me know/asks questions if Stryker is acting “off”. Don’t think, just book with her!”

“Amanda is absolutely amazing! Conan loved her and his walks. She’s great with communicating and pictures. It was such a great first rover experience and I will definitely be booking Amanda again!”

About: Dogs are simply a gift to mankind! I’ve been around them since I was a baby, from tiny puppies to seniors. I’ve been involved with multiple rescue organizations, most recently helping a foster find her forever home in Pinellas County. I look forward to meeting you and your baby ❤️ I work remotely from a large home office that is open to the living room, dining room and kitchen with a view of the fenced yard. My girl and our guests are rarely out of sight. Even with a fenced yard, walks are daily in the morning and evening. We’re near a soccer field and a dog park, perfect for high energy pups. The neighborhood is extremely dog friendly, so if your pup is walk challenged or reactive please let me know. I host one dog at a time which I find less stressful for them while their family is away. I also do not provide daycare. Your pup is welcome in any area of the home. My own girl Willa has never been crated so if yours is comfortable in his/her crate at times/overnight or needed for when I leave the house please provide one.

“THE BEST!!!!!!!! She goes out of her way to make sure your baby is happy!!! My Winston is always tired when he gets home so I know she has done her job!!! I can not say enough how much I appreciate her!!!!! 100 stars and more for this lady!!!”

About: I have had cats my whole life. Growing up I had two cats that lived well into their 20's and various dogs. I have always had a very special connection to cats and can seem to get along with even the grumpiest of cats that won't come close to anyone else, I have been told. I had a 7 pound Yorkie dog for 13 years who was like a soulmate to me and I was devastated when he passed. I have not gotten a dog since, but now have two cats again and love them! Luna and Rizzo a sister and brother duo that we rescued in April of 2020. I would be delighted to care for your furry friends while you are gone and will take great care of them. I work for myself so I can make my hours flexible to work around what you need. I wake up early to care for my cats and get ready for my day, so I can easily head over to take care of your pets. I have a deep connection to animals, especially cats and small dogs. I give a lot of attention to my two cats with pets, cuddles and playing. I would do the same for your animals. When pet parents are away it is very important to give as much of my attention to them as I can, because they will be missing you.

About: With 4+ years of hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary medicine, I bring a level of training and confidence you won’t find with just any sitter or walker. I’ve worked with a wide range of species—from dogs and cats to sea turtles, sharks, and dolphins—so I’m calm, capable, and quick to respond to any situation. Whether your pup is high-energy, shy, or has medical needs, I’ve got the skills to keep them safe, happy, and engaged. I also share my life with a high-energy Australian Shepherd, so I know just how important it is to keep active dogs mentally and physically engaged. We’re always out on adventures, whether it’s trail walks, beach runs, or structured training sessions. Animal care isn’t just something I do—it’s what I’ve dedicated my career to. For the time being, I am working from home, so I am very flexible with my schedule. I will be available any time during the week to give extra attention to your animals! In my client’s home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely—meals, medications, walk schedules, training cues, and enrichment needs. I make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation, whether that’s a structured walk, playtime, or some calm cuddle time. I also respect your space and keep everything clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. Your expectation will always be met!

“We contacted David to help with our dog, Bella Mae, for a couple days last week as I had minor surgery and could not walk her. David was nice enough to stop by prior to scheduled time and meet us and Bella. He is a fine young man who clearly loves animals and was great with Bella Mae.”

About: I grew up watching friends and neighbors pets from dogs, cats, fish, birds to some more unique ones such as chickens and llamas! My sweet Nyla unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge this July 2024. At this time I am only hosting 1-2 dogs at a time. I like to be able to give each one the attention they deserve. My home is small and cozy, I don’t have a fenced in yard but I make sure we go out for plenty of walks and exercise. I live very close to dog parks and walking trails and enjoy running so no fear of your pet not getting enough exercise. I have experience administering basic medication as needed. My goal is to make your pups stay as enjoyable as possible and help you stay at ease during your time away. I provide plenty of photo updates to let you know how they are doing. I also provide FREE pick ups and drop offs for your convenience. I work from home part time and have a very flexible schedule which makes it easier for short notice or to be able to provide service if needed more than once a days. I try to learn as much as I can about your pet such as: routine, likes and dislikes, allergies, health concerns, etc to help make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I’m a dedicated and passionate pet sitter who offers reliable, loving care for both dogs and cats of all temperaments and ages. From energetic puppies as young as 6 weeks to senior pets needing extra TLC, I specialize in tailoring care to meet each animal’s unique needs. For the past 2 years, I’ve been an outstanding sitter on Rover, as well as private clients, and other platforms, I’ve consistently received glowing reviews and responses from happy clients. In addition to my professional history, I have a lifelong background in animal rescue, starting in childhood and continuing into adulthood. This experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, including working with timid, reactive, and aggressive dogs to help them feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m skilled in: • Pet sitting (in-my-home and drop-in) • Leash walking & exercise routines • Basic obedience and behavioral training • Handling aggressive, anxious, shy, or high-energy pets • Bathing and basic grooming • Administering medication or following special care routines What You Can Expect with My In-Home Care: Your pet’s comfort and joy are my top priorities. Though my home is small, it’s a warm, safe, and enriching environment filled with activities and affection. Daily routines typically include: • Morning and evening walks • Outdoor sunshine and dog park trips 1–2 times per week • Doggie pool play & enrichment activities • Brain stimulation games • Indoor playtime and plenty of cuddles To ensure safety and comfort, I offer: • Outdoor run leads for secure off-leash time • Two gated areas and two crates for smooth transitions or decompression, if needed • A peaceful, structured environment that supports both play and rest If you’re not looking for in-home care, I also offer a variety of flexible services, including: • Drop-in visits • Daytime pet sitting • Dog walking • Bathing and light grooming • Basic training sessions • Special request accommodations I care for every animal as if they were my own, and I would be honored to welcome your fur baby into my care. Let’s connect and discuss how I can give your pet the love, safety, and attention they deserve while you’re away! I am available 24/7. I am always flexible and willing to work with pet owners to help cater to whatever needs there may be. I’m currently working part-time as a private caregiver and create my own schedule. I’m completing an internship as a dog trainer with Ridgeside K9 - Tampa which also allows me to be home more and create a very flexible schedule to tend to my animals when they need me. When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment tailored to each pet’s needs and personality. I ensure my space is pet-proofed—free of hazards, with secure fencing (if applicable), and a consistent routine that helps pets feel at ease. In a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow their instructions closely to maintain continuity for their pet. I build trust through clear communication, regular updates with photos/videos, and by being dependable and gentle in all interactions. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication, or simply offering comfort, I provide attentive, loving care so your pet feels secure and happy while you’re away.

About: Being around animals is truly a passion for me. I have a special place in my heart for animals and would have more of my own if I could. They make me smile and brighten my day just knowing they were happy to have me there. I have dog sat and walked several area families. I always appreciate knowing if any dog needs special attention of any kind. It is helpful for both of us. I believe animals should be a part of one's family and I treat them all as family. I work part time so I have a flexible schedule when it comes to the needs of your furry friends. I’m open to caring for a variety of animals with proper instructions. I am capable of handling more than one dog or cat. If you need a specific routine to check on your dog or cat please just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate those needs. Do you have a yard? Please indicate if you have a dog that you prefer to play and exercise in your yard or if you would like me to take them around the neighborhood for a nice walk for exercise.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been lucky enough to grow up with Labs of all colors — yellow, chocolate, and black! I currently have a fun-loving chocolate lab of my own, and caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. I prioritize daily playtime and long walks to keep dogs happy, healthy, and engaged. I’ve crate-trained and leash-trained my own pup, and I love helping dogs learn new tricks, chances are your dog will pick up a few by the time you pick them up! Whether your dog is high-energy or more of a couch snuggler, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. I work from home Monday-Friday so someone will always be home with your pet. Our weekly schedule consists of walks on the water and trips to the dog park. I have a large fenced in yard with brand new turf ready for your pet to run around! We have a separate potty area as well. I have a large crate on hand if needed for your dog but happy to let them roam free as well.

“Would we choose Jess again with our pups? Never looked for anyone again after we found her, she’s it for us! The both of us are medical professionals who work long days, and our patient care is priority during those hours, so we needed someone we could trust to do a mid day visit to break up the day. We were very apprehensive and new to Rover, but after all the looking, we kept going back to Jessica’s profile, and for good reason! From day one she has put our minds at ease and we knew she was a perfect fit. She comes with integrity and honesty, and she always makes our dogs and us her priority. Her gentle disposition and kind demeanor made it easy for the dogs to love her. She goes above and beyond every time and always makes right if anything comes about. She makes herself available even in last minute change of plans, with her we know the pups are well taken care of and enjoying time with their friend Jessica! We will always choose Jessica, she’s worth placing your trust in!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was little as we always had at least 2 dogs and a cat in our home. Throughout my life I have taken care of animals of every size, shape, and age! I grew up with boxers and German Shepards, and indoor/outdoor cats. All three of my dogs are medical rescues, so I have vast experience caring for dogs with extra needs. My oldest dog is an 8 year old Corgi/Beagle mix, the middle is a 4 year old Pitbull, and our newest pack member is a 1 year old XL mix. She is an even split of Cane Corso/Ptibull/Rottweiler/Great Dane/ Presa Canerio, so I am well adjusted to very big friends. She came to us with severe mange and eye defects, and now has severe colitis. Her situation has helped me become a pro with medications, injections, and baths! In addition to my own fur babies I have watched over 50 different dogs in my recent years. I come from a large family and within just my immediate family there are 9 dogs! I have cared for freshly born puppies (0 days until they were 8 weeks) and geriatric dogs, as our recently passed dog was 15 years old. I love every animal I meet like they are my own and know how important it is to find the right person to have around your babies. I work in the operating room so I am a medical professional who is completely unfazed by anything dogs could throw at me! Whether it is meds, blood, or their own bodily doings, I can handle it all. I work on a 4 day, 10 hour shift schedule so I have plenty of days to help take care of your babies! On my three days off I have completely availability to make sure I am with them a proper amount of time. In our home our dogs are completely spoiled. They have 2 acres of fenced in land to play on, with a pool, rope tugs on strong trees, and multiple sprinklers to go crazy with. While I will not be offering services at my own home, I will make sure to bring the fun to your pets when I am with them. If they aren’t super into playing, I will make sure to give them all of the love and cuddles they desire! I look forward to meeting them and catering my care to their individual needs. If anything of concern ever happens I will call you immediately and happily provide them the care you see best fit.

Valarie was great with my dogs! She was quick to respond and available to do a meet and greet on short notice. She arrived right on time, took plenty of pictures and even worked with my puppy on eating with the other dogs. I would highly recommend Valarie for your next dog walking/sitting needs! Thank you, Valarie, for taking such great care of Sperry, Bear and Buc! 😊

Lexi did an amazing job with my dog, Lemon, who struggles with anxiety and fear. It’s not easy finding someone who understands how to work with dogs that have specific behavioral needs, but Lexi definitely knows what she’s doing. She follows Lemon’s training carefully to maintain consistency. She’s also communicative and professional and keeps me updated to make sure I feel comfortable and informed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, experienced dog walker, especially if your dog needs a little extra care and understanding.

Mia was my furbaby Rico's pet sitter before he crossed the rainbow bridge. Rico loved her and I always felt comfortable leaving him in her care. When I needed a sitter for my current furbaby Max, I didn't hesitate to reach out to her. Not surprisingly, Max also loves her. Mia is always prompt and informative. She is such a sweet soul!

Martha is amazing! Wiggles is like velcro to here mama and she happily went with Martha and got excited when I told her Martha was coming. She was also gracious in accepting me as a client when I had covid, very kind and brave. I highly recommend Martha for walks or boarding. Thanks Martha!
