About: We are a Loving and Fun Family that would love to take care of your fur baby while you are away, walk while you are out for the day or have them over for a doggie play date to keep them socialized. My husband and I have had pets since we both were small from cats to all sizes of dogs. Your dog will receive plenty of loving attention, exercise, and will be treated as if they are part of our family. We can't wait to meet you. My husband works from home and is available all day to care of your fur baby so frequent potty breaks and playtime won't be an issue. Our animals have always been treated as part of the family. I have two children, a 10-year-old boy, and a 8-year-old girl. We have a friendly and loving Golden retriever named Winnie, who is never far from our side! We live in a nice quiet neighborhood that has a lot of safe sidewalks for walks and a fenced backyard that they can play in. If you want your pet to be loved, taken care of, and spoiled while you are away then we are the sitters for you.
“Nyx stayed at Jaritza’s house for the first time(usually Jaritza has come and let Nyx out) and she was so amazing and sent pictures of Nyx all day, and Nyx had so much fun with her dogs. Jaritza is so great!”

“Very Nice & Diligent Dog Sitters! They kept us updated with pics and she was good as new when we picked her up! Definitely recommend and will use again in the future if needed!”

“First time using Rover and Katie was very accommodating for us, and our new puppy, Ollie! Provided updates, and photos as the day went by! She will absolutely be the person we contact when we need someone to watch our little man again in the future!”

“Nadia was fantastic with Miles on his first visit and very flexible with pick up time which we appreciate! He enjoyed playing with her pups Hazel and Cora and will definitely be back for more fun!”

“Dulce and her family were wonderful with Biggie! They were patient and understanding of his anxious behavior! They sent photos and videos of him for updates. I will use them again!”

“Daniel took care of Oli as if she were his own. She's really happy with him and she's always looking forward to another dog day care with him. Oli gets really excited when she sees him and goes directly to him, which is a good sign. I really appreciate what he's doing while I'm at work. He also sends me pictures and videos of her during the day, which is always appreciated. Totally recommend!”

“Thanks to Nicole and family for really taking good care of Argus. She was sending constant updates about argus. We will definitely reach out if we need someone to take care of Argus.”

“This is our second time booking with Julianne! She takes such great care of our puppy and he is always so excited to see her. Julianne always sends pictures and gives us updates which is greatly appreciated. Thank you Julianne for taking the best care of our pup :)”

“Phoenix did a day sit for us with Trixie, first time using Rover, we were very happy to find her. Trixie had a good time playing with her son and we were able to attend our event without worrying about our baby; would definitely use her again.”

“I would recomend Laura to my family and friends. She treats you 4 legged boy or girl like they were 1 of her own Frankie loved her and she loved him. He will miss her. Thank you Laura.😀”

“Maria is an absolute gem. My regular doggy daycare sitter went out of town and with short notice and Maria's flexibility, she was able to accommodate to me and my pup, named Astro. A hurricane interupted some of his planned stay and she was so kind in editing his booking! I had such anxiety finding a sitter that would allow him to play and not be caged or boarded for hours in the day, Maria and her home was exactly what Astro needed to feel comfortable and safe. He loved playing in her fenced backyard with other doggies at daycare. Maria is so kind and gentle, my usually anxious pup quickly warmed up to her loving personality. She sent me photos throughout the day both days he was there, which reassured me how much he was enjoying himself. We will definitely be booking in the future!!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to express my gratitude to Giovani for taking care of our fur babies, Sky and Sunny, on such short notice! We brought them to his place, and they settled in beautifully. Giovani was welcoming and attentive, ensuring they felt at home. It was great to see them playing and enjoying their time there. I knew they were in safe hands, which eased my mind while I was away. Highly recommend Giovani for pet-sitting—he truly cares about the animals! Thank you again!”
About: I've taken care of hundreds of dogs since I was a kid. I also used to foster dogs, and have taken care of dogs from young puppies to aging seniors. Our family currently only has one dog, but we love having pets in the house. We provide lots of playtime, care, and love - and pictures! We do have kids, and they love dogs and are very good at treating them respectfully. We also have areas of the house where dogs can relax without kids around; however, if your dog is very nervous around children we would not be the best house. But if your dog thrives in a busy house full of love, we would love to care for your family member! I work from home and provide consistent care to our own dog and the dogs we watch! During the day I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, attention, and play time. In the morning and in the evening, we walk our dogs and give them plenty of playtime and attention. We have a larged fenced-in yard, which provides room for dogs to run and play. We have one dog, a four year old lab named Bailey. She is friendly with all dogs, and matches their energy. If dogs are high energy and like to play, she is very playful. However, if dogs are more calm, she enjoys being around them without running and barking. We also have four kids - two older kids ( 11 and 9) and two younger ones (2 and 1). All of them love dogs and know how to treat dogs kindly. We have room for dogs to run and play where we can keep the kids away. We have rooms that can hold crates or give dogs time to themselves, if needed. We are flexible and respond to what each dog needs! Most importantly - we LOVE dogs and pets, and make sure that every dog that stays with us is treated as a beloved family member.
“Susan was amazing with our dog. She constantly sent pictures and was consistent with providing us feedback. She made us feel great and no worries at all. Not everyone can keep up with husky energy! Susan was wonderful!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
