“Remy loves staying with Laurie and her family. They all treat him like part of the family. Laurie sends picture updates, which is greatly appreciated. We have booked with Laurie multiple times and will continue to do so!”

About: As well as owning dogs and cats all 24 years of my life, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have been working with rover for a few years now to gather experience loving other family pets as my own. I promise to be a new best friend while you are away from your fur babies! i work third shift four days a week so i have a very open schedule for walks and drop ins. my best times are 9am-noon and 4pm-7pm but i am open to requests at any time:) while walking dogs i ALWAYS keep them on leash. i’m comfortable helping with whatever you need whether that’s just hanging out or maybe brushing your pet:) just ask!
“Pam took excellent care of Bruno. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her for 6 days. He has only been boarded at kennels before, and I really didn't want to have to send him there again. I am so glad that I found Pam. We will definitely be using her services in the future.”

“This is the second time I have used Samantha for my puppy Beckett. He stayed two nights with Samantha. She does a great job with Beckett. He runs excitedly into her house which tells me he is treated well. She is very accommodating, we had to change our times a little bit and Samantha worked with us on that. I am already scheduled to use Samantha again.”

“The best part about leaving our dogs with Gabe is they are so happy to leap out of the car and run up to him! They are obviously very comfortable there. Thanks again Gabe for a worry free trip. We very much appreciate the work you do for us. You are a blessing!”

“Brandi is EXCELLENT!!!! I cannot say enough about her. She gave me updates about my furbaby without asking putting my mind at ease. Oakley was definitely in good hands while I was away.”

“I would recommend Haylie and her family! They took care of our new addition to our family while we were away a few days. They were very understanding of her anxiety of being away from her family for the first time since we got her. They took good care of her. She was clean and everything I dropped off for her was also well cared for. She sent multiple videos and photos throughout the stay. I would rebook with Haylie in the future.”

“Lydia is absolutely amazing! Her home is clean, welcoming and was ready to board our dog overnight. We really appreciate her and our dog returned home happy! We will be using Lydia from now on.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve also volunteered for dog shelters and watched family and friends pets on multiple occasions. I love puppies and older dogs. Everyone deserves to feel like they can leave their pet with a safe person who will love on their dog. I’m a very active person and take walks daily. My schedule is very flexible which makes it easy to be able to come home during the day and take dogs for walks or just be around at home to hang out. I care for them very much. My apartment has a dog park down the street as well as many grassed areas around to play and go potty. Nothing dangerous or unusual kept in house hold. I live with 3 girls all who have dogs at home and love taking care of them.
“I would definitely recommend Corinne, she was great! She was easy to communicate with, flexible, and sent lots of updates and pictures. She also made sure Nova was well-exercised and comfortable. I came back to a very happy puppy! :)”

About: With four years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate pet sitting you can trust. I understand how stressful boarding can be for both pets and their owners, so I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment where your animals feel safe and loved. From energetic puppies to senior pets and those with special health needs, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and conditions. When you can’t be there, you can feel confident knowing your pet will be treated like family—with patience, attention, and genuine care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Each day, I ensure pets are fed on schedule, receive any necessary medications, and get plenty of enrichment and one-on-one attention while I monitor their overall well-being. I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide attention tailored to their personality and needs. For cats especially, I prioritize a calm, low-stimulation environment, respecting their boundaries while ensuring they feel safe and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I keep their space clean, follow all instructions closely, and provide daily updates so owners feel reassured and connected while they’re away.

I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving attention and cuddles, or just keeping them company. I love all kinds of animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Over the summer, I’m living at home with my family, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I work as an RBT, but I only work around 3 hours a day and I’m completely free on weekends, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and lots of attention throughout the day. We have two friendly dogs at home, a Labradoodle and a Schnoodle, who get along very well with other animals. Our home also has a large open backyard with a pond, a front yard, and plenty of space for pets to play and explore safely. We also have a crate available if your dog is crate-trained or needs their own quiet space. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I will always treat your pet like part of the family. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Nice to meet you! I am currently in my gap year before medical school. My genuine and caring personality comes from my many years working at a senior living facility, at the James Cancer Hospital, as an at-home caregiver, and now at a primary care office. Please feel free to reach out! Monday through Thursday I work 7:45am to 5pm, so I am available before or after then! On Fridays, I work 7:45-1pm. On the weekends, I am available any time! I live in a single family home with a large back yard and I am in walking distance to many parks. I currently live with two other girls and we do not own any pets. Both roommates are animal lovers as well, so we create a very caring environment!
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Grove
Judy was a pleasure to work with. She cared for our dog Prancer as if he was her own. She sent me daily photos & videos of Prancer so that my husband and I felt at ease while away from Prancer. She was very personable and obviously a very kind & caring person. We will use her services again!!

Penny loves dogs and will take good care of yours! She was great with my very sensitive girl and made sure she was comfortable and right at home. She even went out of her way to make Mika’s food extra yummy when she wasn’t showing much appetite. Excellent and quick communication too. Thanks Penny!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Spring Grove home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Spring Grove.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Spring Grove sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
