“Penny was so good with our baby, she took great care of her and stayed in touch with us the whole time. We would recommend her to take care of anyone’s pets, and we will definitely be using her again. Thanks Penny!”

“Laurie was outstanding with our dog, Remy. She sent photos and updates everyday. We felt like Remy was part of Laurie’s family. He looked comfortable and loved in the photos we received. We will absolutely be going to Laurie again when we need boarding for Remy.”

“Goldie, being a rescue, is a really anxious and apprehensive dog. Lydia was awesome with her, she has the expertise (being a foster for a rescue) to make the dog feel comfortable and safe. Goldie was really spoiled in her stay, we also ran into a delay in our trip and Lydia was awesome and understanding. I totally recommend her for sitting your dog!!”

“Pam and her husband provided a wonderful weekend for my American Bully Kash. When choosing a new sitter I am looking for someone who will not just take care of my best friend, but genuinely enjoy and care about him. Pam is warm and caring, she and her husband seemed to genuinely delight in Kash's presence while providing competent care and excellent communication.”

“This is the second time I have used Samantha for my puppy Beckett. He stayed two nights with Samantha. She does a great job with Beckett. He runs excitedly into her house which tells me he is treated well. She is very accommodating, we had to change our times a little bit and Samantha worked with us on that. I am already scheduled to use Samantha again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Richmond
Nessie loved her time at Penny's and enjoyed having lots of other doggies (and kitties!) to play with. Penny was prompt and upfront in her communication and provided a full check-in and check-out report so I felt in-the-know! It was clear Penny is experienced and intentional in her work as a dog sitter and we appreciated the care she gave to our dog.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
