“I DEFINITELY recommend Angel and will rebook with her if I need boarding in the future. Angel was responsive to all messages and seemed like she really loves dogs. She sent pictures during his stay and he seemed like he had enjoyed himself when I came by to pick him up. Thanks Angel for taking care of my Denim on such short notice.”

About: I recently just got a puppy of my own so I am very experience with taking care of puppies! I also had several dogs growing up so I am good with dogs of all ages. Most of my availability will be on the weekends, however I will be available some mornings and most evenings as well if needed. My schedule may differ week to week! I am all about making sure the dog's needs are being met, whether that be long walks or playing with them indoors! Anything that your dog needs I will try my best to provide!
“First time boarding with Patricia and she was great with our two dogs (Ollie and Indie). They are used to running free in a fenced in yard and Patricia has a large, beautiful back yard for them to run in. Her dog was very calm and friendly toward our dogs. I plan to board again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Tiffany was great!! She took Callum with just a few days notice. She had no problem with my special requirements for him. And she helped him feel right at home and took special care to introduce him to her cats. she sent me an update and photos a few times, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely use Tiffany again!!”

“This was our 4th booking for our two beagles. Angela, Ken & Maya have taken great care of our boys! They seem to enjoy their stays. I would recommend them.”

About: Our family loves dogs, cats and all furry animals and would love to relieve your stress by offering pet sitting services while you're at work, or on vacation. Stay at home mom so plenty of time for walks and play, we have a farm so lots of room for pups to run and play. I have plenty of space to walk your pet, can also crate them if necessary as well as confidently administer any necessary medications. Dogs are fed separately and water available at all times.
About: I've taken care or have owned dogs my entire life. Last August, we lost our best friend, Nala, too soon. She was a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) and at the age of 5 was impacted by a very rare auto-immune disease especially for her breed. This was a tragic loss for my family and I and at this moment owning/adopting another dog would be hard. We don't want to ever experience that kind of pain. Having said that, we have so much love for animals and would be grateful to take care of your dog/cat as one of our own. Would prefer to pet sit in your home as we have 3 cats. However, boarding at our home is an option. It's mostly just my fiance Ashley and I living in the home as our adult boys are away at college. Please consider us for all of you pat care needs. Thank you! Working full-time but have a hybrid schedule. In the office 3 days a week but can be flexible. Available weekends and holidays for overnight boarding. I do not have a fenced in yard but there is a park nearby. I also walk/run several miles a day. We live in a 3-level condo with plenty of room for zoomies.
“Laura and her family took such great care of Blackjack while we were away. They played lots of fetch and he even took a dip in the pool. He is exhausted and snoring next to me right now so I can guess he had a great time too. Laura was really easy to work with and the setup in her home is great for all kinds of dogs, no matter their needs. I would highly recommend Laura and plan to use her again next time we go out of town.”

“We typically do drop-in visits but switched to boarding our boys with Sandy. Our boys couldn't have been more comfortable and well-cared for! Thank you for taking such good care of our boys, as always!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sporting Hill
We had such a great experience with Derek and Cammie! They took wonderful care of Snuggles for two nights, and we felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. They were caring, attentive, and kept us updated while we were away. Snuggles was happy and well cared for when we picked her up. We truly appreciate the love and care they gave her and would definitely recommend Derek and Cammie! 🐾❤️

Samantha was absolutely amazing with Junior. From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable and at peace leaving him with her. She kept us updated, was incredibly attentive, and treated him like part of her own family. Junior can be a little sensitive with changes, but he clearly felt safe and loved with her. When we got back, he was calm and happy — which says everything. She is responsible, kind, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. We are so grateful and will 100% book with her again. Highly, highly recommend

Emina & Jackson were absolutely excellent. They took incredible care of Norman even through changing circumstances and unforeseen challenges. It’s clear they are huge animal lovers and would do anything for your pet. They kept me up to date and sent photos and I felt very reassured when Norman was in their care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking! Thank you so much for treating my dog like one of your own.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Sporting Hill home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Sporting Hill.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Sporting Hill sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
