About: I've been around animals my whole life, with 15 years professional experience. I was a canine handler/ doggie daycare coordinator at the farm at Natchez trace for 3 years in Franklin tn, then right after started working at My second home pet resort where I remained for 8 years as boarding mananger. I’ve got hands on experience with all sorts of breeds ranging from Great Dane, Xoloitzcuintli, Irish wolf hound, to yorkies. I can administer insulin shots, oral meds, flea treatments and more.I also am a small biz owner, I pet sit full time. I’m close to Fisk university and only 10 mins from airport. I am canine cpr & first aid certified and have pet sitters insurance so you have peace of mind. I am a full time owner and operator of Dawn of the dog petcare, my time is dedicated to the care and wellbeing of your pet. I have a fenced in back yard for potty breaks, and several play areas in my house to ensure your dog is having the best time. I do have a small 8lb schnauzer mix of my own who loves everyone and 3 cats. I try to accommodate a range of pets, I can take in high anxiety, fearful, and some mild food aggression. When dealing with special pets that need more time to warm up I have designated rooms in my home to seperate them too, that has calming music playing and dim lighting. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
