About: What sets me apart as a sitter is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up with boxer dogs starting at age five, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding breed traits, energy levels, and behavior. As an adult, I adopted a middle-aged rescue Plott Hound–Boxer mix. Caring for him into his senior years—especially managing arthritis while still honoring his need for daily walks—gave me extensive experience with senior care, mobility limitations, and compassionate end-of-life support. I currently have a one-year-old Golden Retriever–Australian Shepherd puppy, so I am very comfortable with high-energy dogs, consistent exercise routines, and reinforcing good behavior through activity and structure. We lead an active lifestyle that includes long walks, hikes through the city forest, and swimming in the river during the summer, so I’m happy to meet the needs of dogs who thrive on physical and mental stimulation. I also regularly care for my parents’ senior boxer for extended periods during the winter months. She requires a specialized Freshpet diet that must be prepared fresh and cut into small pieces for each meal, so I’m very attentive to detailed feeding routines and special dietary needs. I’m known to be her favorite person, which I think speaks to my patience, calm demeanor, and ability to build trust—especially with older dogs. Overall, I bring a balance of energy, responsibility, and genuine love for dogs, whether they’re playful puppies or seniors who need extra care and understanding. I have full availability throughout the entire month of April, as I will be finishing my current job at the end of March. During this time, pet care will be my primary focus and easily fits into my daily and weekly schedule. With no other work commitments in April, I’m able to dedicate my time to walks, feeding schedules, companionship, and any special care needs. I’m looking forward to a calm, grounding month before starting my new position on May 1, and I value the companionship and routine that caring for a pet provides. I care for pets based on each client’s preferences and the pet’s individual needs, always prioritizing safety, consistency, and comfort. I closely follow any routines already in place, including feeding times, exercise schedules, and medication or special care instructions, because I believe sticking to a familiar schedule helps pets feel secure and relaxed. For safety reasons, I prefer to keep dogs on leashes or long leads unless they are in a fully secure, fenced area that they cannot get over or out of. I do not allow cats outdoors, as I believe indoor-only care is the safest option. Exercise is important to me, and I tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, health, and energy level—whether that’s relaxed walks, playtime, or longer adventures for more active dogs. With my open availability throughout the month of April, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and enrichment. I’m happy to offer extra one-on-one time, exploration, and adventures if your pet enjoys them, while always keeping their comfort and well-being at the center of my care.

About: Since I was a young girl I've cared for cats and dogs in various settings. I've volunteered at humane societies, I've worked as a Vet Tech, was a supervisor at a daycare/boarding facility. I can administer insulin and other medications. Minor training experience in a professional setting. Can handle puppies to seniors. I will have plenty of time to devote to your pets, who really are our children. I am home a majority of the time with my own pets. I do not have a fenced in yard, I use a leash and walk my dog at least once a day, weather permitting. Potty breaks 2-4 hrs for my dog. I can travel as I have a 4wd vehicle. I will play and treat your pets as my own!

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up my family had a small hobby farm where we cared for many animals. Since moving out I have owned and helped train multiple working dogs, including the pointer I have now. I have no problem administering medications if needed. I already walk my multiple times a day so your dog will get plenty of exercise. My girlfriend works from home and I have a flexible work schedule so we are available any time you may need. Your dog will always have someone around if they like constant attention! I live in a house with a large, mostly fenced in backyard. My dog has never met someone he doesn't love, and will run/play until he can't stand anymore! Plenty of room for exercise and play!

“I don’t even know where to begin. Jaimie is an outstanding, compassionate human being with the patience of a goddess. She took on my two 10 month old Black Labs, Duke and Eli like they were her own. She was so welcoming and kind when I got there and this was my boys first stay away from me. They loved her, her husband and their dog. I received almost hourly updates with photos and she didn’t even known but they have GPS collars on and it showed they walked with her, 22,000 steps. They were happy, well fed, loved and exhausted.
