About: I was raised in a household with a large Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a small Yorkie pup and they were always treated as a member of the family. Now I have a 7 yr old Chihuahua named Bear who is friendly and welcoming. I was taught care and responsibility for animals at a very young age and it has only gotten stronger over time. I previously worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility in Panama City, Florida where I supervised dogs of all breeds and sizes while they safely enjoyed their play day! I currently live in Virginia Beach with my sister and her husband in a house with a large fenced in backyard and a safe neighborhood perfect for walks. Working with animals is one of my passions and I’m happy I’m able to do it on a day to day basis. I have lengthy experience house sitting/dog sitting and would love to care for your fur babies in your home or mine. I see long walks and snuggles in the future! I currently work part-time which gives me plenty of time to be home and take care/play with your pets! When caring for your pets they are a main priority in my daily schedule just like mine are. I have a large fenced in yard for easy and often potty breaks! We also like to play outside or sunbathe when it is not too hot. The dogs are never left unsupervised outside and they will never be left home alone for more than a couple hours. I live with my sister and her husband who both work from home so someone is always home watching them. If I am house sitting in your home and you would prefer that I do not bring my dog, Bear, it is not a problem!

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and even fostered both dogs and cats, so I understand every animal has their own personality and needs. I always take the time to read and follow each dog’s behavior, making sure they feel safe and happy on every walk. As a puppy parent myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and I treat every dog I walk like my own. Whether it’s playful puppies or gentle senior dogs, I’m here to make tails wag and put your mind at ease. I work part time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available most days and can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your dog gets the walks and attention they need, when they need it. Having the extra time means I can focus on giving each dog the care and patience they deserve whether that’s a quick potty break or a long, playful walk. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space with the same respect I’d expect in my own. My main priority is your dog’s safety and well being making sure they’re comfortable, happy, and always returned home safe after every walk or visit. If anything is ever needed to keep your pet cared for properly, I’ll always reach out and ask. My focus is fully on your dog giving them the attention and care they deserve while respecting your home as their safe place.

About: During my childhood years I grew up on a farm learning the values of pets! From horses to beta fish. My whole life I have been raised around Dobermans and know how to greatly care for them as well as other breeds! My mom would self train our puppies and I would always be around to watch. I also work great with cats, my beloved cat “Tomboy” was my first personal pet! Pet care fits into my everyday schedule as I am currently home during the whole summer from school. When I go back to school I am still available weekends! At my home I have a fenced in front yard with lots of running space. I think that creating trust with the pet as well as the owner is of-course is first priority!

If they stay with me, they’ll be treated like family, with lots of love, comfort, and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and right at home!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and take care of a dog currently who is in most of the pictures. My friend uses the Rover App so I am aware of the variety of care required. I will always check the temperature of pavement before walking, manage play well, provide proper structure and learning, and above all be safe and give them all the love they deserve while you are away. I have no professional training but years of dog training have honed my abilities, I can send a video of my training in action and what I am capable of as a dog trainer if you want. I just finished college. I am looking for something to keep me busy and make some extra money because I could definitely use some. I am usually free and even if I am not I have a flexible schedule. I have a fenced in dog park right behind my apartment, and one well trained purebred good boy who is neutered and all caught up on vaccines. If your pup does not like other animals maybe we can work something out like me coming to their environment alone.

“It was my first time using Rover and Ashley was able to help me out in a pinch! Huge help and would 100% recommend her! Felt super confident and safe with her and that Park was getting the right care and love he needed!!”

“When my dog Callie began losing her sight and needed regular insulin shots and eye drops to keep her comfortable. I was overwhelmed. Brienne stepped in not just as friend but as a devoted caregiver. Giving insulin shots and administer eye drops multiple times a day is not small task, especially when it is essential to preserving what's left of your pet's comfort and health. Southwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor has been an absolute blessing as my dog walker for Henry! She walks him for a half hour, four days a week, and the positive impact on both Henry and me has been incredible. Taylor is reliable, professional, and genuinely cares about Henry’s well-being. Not only does she make sure he gets the exercise he needs to stay healthy and happy, but she also goes above and beyond by ensuring he has fresh water after their walks. Henry absolutely adores her, and it’s clear that Taylor has a special way with dogs. I always feel at ease knowing he’s in such capable and loving hands. Her dedication and attention to detail make her stand out, and I couldn’t ask for a better person to care for Henry during the week. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and kind to walk your dog, I highly recommend Taylor—you won’t be disappointed!
