“Jessica was my lifesaver!!!! I injured my knee and was suddenly unable to walk my dog. She was available on short notice and responded quickly. I was in such a panic but she reassured me that she would take great care of my baby! She was flexible, patient, and kind. I had the worst day and I was being so spastic and crazy and she was sooo sweet to me. I am thankful to have found her . My dog absolutely loved her! She took him to the park, his favorite place :) I am so thankful that Jessica has experience with large breeds and was able to handle my 70 lb dog. About: I’ve had a dog in my household ever since I was 5 years old and would love to meet and help you with your fur baby! I go to school at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology 3d days a week, and work at a restaurant 2 days a week and take care of my pup every night when I get home, I also own a bunny rabbit named e.b.! I love my pets like they are family and will treat yours like they’re my own. Your pets safety and the safety of your home is a top priority!

About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. There's a giant pop up blocking what this field is meant to say but it's saying I have to fill it in, perhaps I can update it later when the pop up is gone.

About: Hello my name is Ashley and my lifestyle is perfect for your every need! I worked in a vet clinic in High School, and in a pet supply distributor after college at Auburn University. I have always had a way with animals: active, sick, older, etc. I want and can work with them and help them thrive. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years- walking , caring for, and loving other people's pets. With a flexible schedule I work from home and I have my own car. I am happy to bathe and or brush your animals, but cannot use clippers or scissors or do nails. I am looking forward to meeting you, and your pets since I have none of my own it will fill that void. My family and I cant wait to meet you soon. I am always available. We are able to be home all the time with the family and have a flexible schedule. We would like to include your pet into the day while you are away. I have a fenced yard and a house perfect for pets. We are always here as a family to care for any needs. We include them as if they were our own, or our families pets. We haven’t had the time to commit to getting a new pet and we miss having one so much we would rather you leave them with us to love on then have them be alone.

“Carol is fabulous! Our dog can be skittish in new situations, but Carol is great with her. It was such relief to find someone so trustworthy and dependable to help take care of her.”

About: With over six years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and a background in Veterinary Technician studies, I have developed strong skills in caring for a diverse array of pets. After taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom, I am eager to bring my expertise and passion for animal care back into the field! I am available on Friday and Saturday evenings after 6pm and Sunday and Mondays throughout the day! This schedule is subject to change due to being a full time stay at home momma. In clients homes I respect boundaries and upkeep the areas your pets use. I will ensure they are comfort and trusting of me before approaching and interacting!

About: Throughout my 38 years of life I have cared for many different types of animals. My husband and I have been adopted by ferrets, sugar gliders, rabbits, dogs, and cats. No animal has gone unspoiled in our home! We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a rabbit of our own and would have more if we could! My schedule is somewhat flexible, as I am a Coach at Orangetheory for my big girl job. I don't work long shifts so I have a variety of availability and would love to spend some off my "off time" giving snuggles! In the clients home, I would be ensuring doors and fences are locked appropriately and animals would be checked over for any ticks or bites given the season, make sure they are provided with food and water appropriately, and they will not be left unsnuggled!

About: I’ve grown up around and taken care of pets my whole life, from itty bitty kittens to old dogs, and recently a bunny! I have two cats that are essentially my children, and I know that whenever I’m away from home I worry about them - I always take care of others’ pets the way I want mine to be treated. I work from home and make my own hours, so my daily routine is incredibly flexible. I’m comfortable staying with your pet as long as you’d like for drop-ins and walks! Taking care of pets includes respecting the space they live in, and by extension the space you live in! I know it’s weird to have a stranger in your home when you’re not there, so I’ll only mess with the stuff I have to in order to take good care of your pet, and whatever I don’t need to touch, I won’t. I’m comfortable administering medication to pets that need it, and I absolutely understand the need to accommodate pickiness. I’ll follow any instructions you leave me word-for-word, and make sure your pet gets to be as comfortable and safe as possible until its people get back home!

About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover since my family brought home a puppy that instantly became my best friend (and greatest excuse to go on long walks). Since I was 14, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family—whether it’s tiny chihuahuas with big attitudes or German Shepherds who think they’re lap dogs. I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to slow-and-steady seniors. I’m dependable, attentive, and always ready for a walk, rain or shine. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family and send you way too many cute photo updates, I’m your girl! I’m currently available for pet sitting and walks throughout the day. Starting in mid-August, my availability will shift to evenings (3 PM–11 PM) on weekdays and all day on weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule as best I can just send me a message! When it comes to caring for pets, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. I prefer to stay in the pet’s home environment, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I take great care in following any instructions you leave-whether it’s about feeding, medications, walks, or routines, so your pet’s day stays as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll stick to their schedule, respect their space, and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles (if they want them!). You can count on me to keep a close eye on their wellbeing, and to treat your pet like my own while you’re away.

Autumn B.
“Autumn is a dog whisperer. Probably a cat, chicken, snake and hamster whisperer too. She has cared for our 2 dogs and house numerous times while we were traveling. This included staying with our 2-year-old coon hound who had extreme anxiety issues at the time. Autumn managed like a pro. She even taught him to sit on the rug in front of the kitchen sink while she was cooking or working in the kitchen, a practice we reenforced and that he continues to this day. We are grateful to have such a kind, patient person to care for our sweet pups when we're away.”

Gussie R.
“I have known Gussie a near decade now and know of her up bringing in a house full of dogs and cats. She is very comfortable with all size dogs and even prefers larger breeds while other walkers may shy away from. She has experience out of Charlottesville assisting with pet care and walks with a previous privately owned pet care company. I have personally used her for cat care for years and can confirm her volunteer work with angels of Assisi located here in Roanoke.”

Taylor H.

“Taylor was terrific. Punctual and consistent and provided good communication and peace of mind.”

Meldina P.
“Mel always treats my two cats like her own adorable and very spoiled boy. I would trust her for any length visit, she is extremely responsible and has a great attention to detail. Your pets will be in great hands with her!”

Spenser D.
“Spenser was the best cat sitter while I was away! She’s a natural with animals and is very responsible and communicative. She’s paid great attention to detail, provided me photos and updates, and my cat loves her! My cat can be pretty shy but took a liking to her right away! Highly recommend Spenser- I’ll be using her again and again!”
