So thankful for Monica today! We were in a jam and needed a dog sitter for the day and at last minute she took our Rocky in and he seemed had a great time.

Bernice was so great and accommodating to my pup. She accepted a last minute day care booking 2 days in a row while my wife got our new house together. I will definitely be using her again.

Great first experience with Rover. Jordan took her last minute early in the morning and allowed me to pick her up late in evening. We really appreciated the flexibility and it appears Nylah was well taken care of and had a good time. Thank you ?

I cannot say enough great things about Danielle! I have used her a couple of times already. My dog was excited to get in the car in the morning and when he saw her after just 1 visit. I receive updates throughout the day with photos and videos. She is so sweet and you can tell that she loves dogs. I don't have to worry about him at all because I know he is in good hands. 5-star recommendation.

After a bad experience with a previous sitter we were so grateful to find Nancy and Mark. They gave us such peace of mind throughout our meet and greet and then Odie’s daycare! They weren’t phased at all by his high energy and it was such a relief to know he was having a great day while we were at work. Thank you thank you thank you!

About: Your sweeties are in caring hands 💛 ✅ Experience with pets of all ages & personalities. ✅ Work from home: Attentive to strict care plan. ✅ Happy to assist with training/manners 🐾. As a pet owner of 35 years and a life-long animal lover, I’ve cared for my own puppies, kittens, and elderly pets over the years. Their quirky personalities have brought nothing but joy to our home! I’ve also cared for exotic littles such as snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, gerbils, chameleons, ferrets, parakeets, Sun Conure Parrots and farm animals (chickens, pigs, horses, “farm sitting”)! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need additional help. We have 2 dogs of our own: One loves to socialize and play with our guests, while the other usually searches for the sunniest window in the house, to nap until the next potty/treat break. Working from home allows me to be attentive to strict potty/medication and walk/play schedules (if your pet is in need of a regimented care plan). I offer drop-in play dates, walks, back-yard potty/play dates and feeding/litter changes, based upon your instruction. I’m also able to host your pets in my home, if you need a sitter. Before booking boarding services with new clients, I request a meet & greet, so that I can get to know everyone and have a clear understanding of your pet’s personality and needs 😁!

About: My husband and I have been dog owners for many years. We recently lost our Yorkie, Sage, at age 12 to cancer. We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. One of us is home at most times. We would require to meet your pup before the stay to ensure good compatibility. We would walk your dog on a leash. Our yard is large, but not fenced. Easy access for potty breaks. We will have open access to our home unless crating is your preference.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me for decades to take care of their animals. Growing up on a farm helped give me a lifelong affinity for animals. I’m a teacher who is off all summer. I have plenty of time to fill and would love to look after your animals, either in my home, as a drop in, or just a walk. I have a fenced in backyard, two amazing labs who love other dogs, and a wife and daughter who love dogs as much as I do.

I would recommend Kassia to anyone looking for a reliable, professional dog sitter. She was communicative, met with us a couple of days before the actual sit, and accommodated our early 6 a.m. drop-off that we needed (which happened to be on Daylight Savings as well). Moreover, our dog was excited when we dropped him off (always a good sign to us), and was tired when we got home.

About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.

About: I have had pets for 40 years and taken care of others' pets for 30 years. I am a reliable, peppy, retired teacher and counselor. Currently I have open availability. I am retired and want to build my pet/home sitting business. I welcome any and all requests for pet or home sitting as I build my business. I do not have any pets of my own. I lost my precious kitty last year and am not ready to add a new pet to my home. I do however have 3 grand kitties and 3 granddogs that I take care of and walk. As a caregiver to your pet I can provide focused attention to your pet. I do not have a fenced yard but am ready, willing and able to provide excellent walks for your pet.

Very accommodating on such short notice! Sent plenty of pictures of our precious Charlie boy during his daycare stay to let us know he was doing ok! Our dog seemed really comfortable and calm in her care! We will use her again in the future!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Southeast Grove

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 178 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Southeast Grove. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Southeast Grove commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 178 sitters in Southeast Grove, 83% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
