About: I have had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I have always taken care of my family's and friend's pets when they travel both cat and dogs, staying at their house or bringing their pet to my home. I had taken care of feeding and walking but I also had a cat who was diabetic, and I was able to manage his blood sugar and daily insulin injection for many years (that cat was mine). I have experience with young dogs, adult dogs and senior dogs more than puppies, but I have done some training of puppies my dad has had over the years I do work Monday through Friday 9-4 but work from home with frequent breaks and my teenager does online school so there is always someone home with few exceptions (when she has dance and I take her and pick up but only gone for about 30 min several times a week. I am free on weekends, so plenty of time to give your fur baby as much attention as needed. I live in an apartment, but we have a dog park area on property which allows space to run. I am also open to taking to the park or long walk if that is preferred I always ask the dog or cats routine at home, so I can ensure that I am duplicating that in my own home. So, I typically follow their routine from walks to feeding schedule including administering any medications and/or supplements. My dad's dog would get very scared of thunderstorms so during summer, I would have to be mindful of pending weather to ensure that she was given medication at right time

About: Hello animal enthusiasts! My name is Katie and I have worked with animals in a multitude of settings. Jane Goodall (Primatologist) was always an idol of mine. As I grew up in a household loving my dogs, cats, and birds I envisioned working in Africa with chimpanzees. While my vision didn't manifest exactly the way I had fathomed, I still ended up working with baboons in Africa (2017). Along the way, I was an outdoor educator for several years working with all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates. I have been attracted to all types of animals since the day I was born. As a science teacher (8 years), I kept corals and saved many animals in the outdoor environment near our school (from squirrels to birds and much more). My husband and I have just moved from Chicago, IL to Florida. We have a love for adventure and curiosity for the great outdoors. We are happily married with our Cockatiel (Sunny) and Umbrella Cockatoo (Jack). I can't wait to meet you and love your pets for eternity! Along with my elementary education degree, I studied zoology. So, with that being stated, I'm here in Florida ready to meet new people, love your pets, teach, adventure, and learn all about Florida ecology! Let's connect! I'm currently reinventing my life/schedule after just recently moving from Chicago, IL this year and leaving my middle school science teaching position. I will be changing my availability in September. Currently, we do not have a fenced in yard for your pet but I can surely take him/her out with their leash in our vast open space! If your dog loves the hose, we have access to this as well. Who doesn't love a nice spray during the hot summer? Your pet will have 24 hour access to this yard, cozy home, and the couch or bed! We live about 5 minutes from the Audubon Pennington Park where we love to take nature walks. I'm sure your dog wouldn't mind a nature walk too! We truly do enjoy hosting neighborhood pets as one of our very own family members. Your pet will receive unconditional love, constant cuddles, outdoor time, and food/water the way you prefer it! At night time, they can choose from our warm bed or their very own cozy dog bed. Your pet is top priority and we want to provide the best experience for them so that they are happy to come back and play! About: The love of my life was my 200lb St. Bernard Henry, he has since passed, he was my everything, my grown and gone 7 children just loved him so much and I miss the cuddles and kisses. I have since bothered my friends of pets to let me love them while they are away and now have a golden retriever I share with my sons father part time and that’s not enough lol, please consider me to love on your fur babies while you are away, they will be spoiled. I’m in the process of semi retiring and have days and evenings available to share with your babies during that to time just let me know. About: Over the last 30 years surrounded by doggy’s. I grew up with German shepherds and Dobermans the. When I first moved out had a few smaller dogs like Chihuahuas and Bichons. Now that I have a house I’m the proudest momma to Ruckus my 90lbs lab/put mix and Stout my 75lbs Staffordshire bull terrier. They may be big in size just means more to cuddle with I am currently working overnights so I am available 8am-12pm and 3:30pm-6:30pm M-F 8am-5pm weekends.
