Jonathan's a pit lover and was absolutely perfect with our dog. We've met a lot of vets and trainers who turned our dog away because with the profession they signed up for they were expecting to cater to small, fluffy dogs that weigh under 10 lbs. I could be very annoying and lengthy about how grateful and thrilled we are that it went so well because basically - it's not been easy to find people who understand how to read dogs body languages and be patient with them. He was our first daycare drop off and will be our go-to for the future.”

Make sure they have my full attention. My house is fully dog proof and its fully dedicated for them, with a 6 foot high fence. Have kitty pool for the hot days.

About: I am a dog owner for the last 7 years (female rescue, 50lbs, lab/retriever.) Before her, I had cats my whole life. My pup is a part of my family and I would treat yours with the same care and compassion. I work from home, live in a duplex and I have a backyard that is mostly fenced (your dog would stay on a leash back there), and I live right next to Dreher Park where we could go for walks 1-2 times/day. Let's do a meet and greet! I work full time from home, and have lots of flexibility for walks and pets. In the evening, we take walks in Dreher Park right next door. Life is quiet around here. No smoking. I'll be here with them all day and can take them to the backyard or for walks in the park. I have a 50lb rescue that has been described by boarders as an alpha female, so she may get barky at first but it ends there.

About: My whole life there’s always been a furry member of my family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve given medication when needed also very careful with reactive/timid dogs. I work part time so I’m free a majority of the time. Rover will be a fun addition to my schedule. My work allows me to adjust my schedule with any future bookings I may have. There is a dog friendly play area in my community as well which is where I plan to do any off leash activities, I like to make sure the play area is empty (usually is). About: I have cared for personal animals and friends’ animals all my life. Horses, dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. I am currently on medical leave at home and fully available to give love and attention to dogs. Currently I am home every day due to chronic illness. I do some work on the computer but largely am resting. I’m a great fit for an anxious animal who would like a lot of attention and cuddling. I have a spacious condo with dedicated outdoor places where I can provide potty breaks. There are no hazards in my home. I only support pets in my own home.

About: I have taken care of animals for 30+ years. My mother has always rescued and fostered so I began helping her at a young age. I have raise all types of animals with different needs and personalities and I love them all. Comfortable with cats dogs and exotic pets. I raised a pitbull for 14+ years who had prey drive. Trying to find a pet sitter for her was a nightmare. A lot of times I could not leave town because there was no one who I trusted enough to handle her. I worked with professional trainers to learn how to control her on walks, so I am comfortable watching pets with behavioral issues. I have experience with senior animals and those with health conditions that need extra love care and attention. I work part time and it’s only a few days a week. My shifts are flexible so if your pet has specific needs that require me to be with them for an extended amount of time I can accommodate that. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your pet to run and play. I have a pool if your pet likes to swim. I also have a fence around the pool to block your pet off if your pet is not a swimmer. All beds and couches are pet friendly in my house :) I keep all furniture covered with clean sheets which I usually change daily. I have 2 cats and a very friendly 18 year old dog named Marshall. If your pet is not friendly with others I have the means to safely separate the animals and rotate walks and playtime.
