“Again Gladdie is SUPER DOG walker! Dogs alway well taken care of and Gladdie send pics and videos of dawgs.”

“Liam is very loving and generous to Patches, and loves to play with him. It is important to this guilty feeling dog Mom. Working all day and being tired when I get home isn’t always great for pup. It is so wonderful to have someone who is reliable, walks and plays with Patches and genuinely cares about doing the job well. Liam is careful to follow the directions so that Patches doesn’t get confusing directions from me and then from someone else! Each walk, in addition to the Rover cards, Liam sends me a cute video of my Patches saying ‘hi’. It makes my day easier knowing my ‘kid’ is well taken care of!!”

About: I rescued our first dog, Trigger, in 2012 with my husband. He came from an abusive and neglected household. He lived his best life with us, and I still miss him terribly. We then rescued our current dog, Zeus, in 2020. He is almost 5. I will make sure your pet gets all the attention and love they deserve! I work during the school year (8-3), but am off during the summer. I would be able to come after 3:00 if need be during the school year. I have a fenced in yard, and one dog that can be put in his room or basement if need be while watching another animal.

About: I have helped take care of up to three golden retrievers at once while growing up. We raised two from when they were puppies and the third from her middle age until she sadly passed. I'm currently working part time so will have plenty of time to spend with your dogs. I am available for walks most of the day and am flexible on start times for overnights. I make sure to give all pets plenty of attention and walk them whenever I check on them. They will receive lots of love and affection in my care.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I’ve gotten the pleasure of taking care of my own pets which ranged from turtles, to dogs, to mice and fish. I love(d) them all. Meeting other people’s pets is one of my favorite activities whether the pet is old and grey or young and rambunctious ❤️ I typically have more time in the morning and after 5pm. I usually work from about 9-5 every day, but can leave at lunch if needed. I have a fenced in yard and a dog friendly dog (he doesn’t like cats). I am happy traveling to others homes to take care of pets as well.

“Charlotte was amazing! We were struggling to find someone to watch our reactive, anxious pup. Charlotte came and did multiple meetings beforehand to help ease our dog into it. We've had our dog get lost while at the hands of another dog walker, so we're very nervous about other people walking her. But felt very comfortable with Charlotte. She totally got our dog, knew how to put her at ease and not push her too much. We also loved getting photos and reports from her walk daily. My uncle, who was watching our dog while we were away, raved about how easy she was to work with as well. One of the best sitters/walkers we've worked with!”

About: My Family and I have had dogs in the family for years and I have always had a big role in taking care of them from baths to playtime and food. In 2020 we then started raising puppies. I have helped from the birthing to medication and playtime, overcoming new obstacles and fears, and potty training. I have dog sat a bit and have done well making sure they got exercise, food, and medication. I do not have much experience with watching cats but love playing with my Aunt's who breeds and raises kittens. I currently work around 25-35 hours a week. I generally work 6-8 hour shifts but if given a week or more notice I can be very flexible with my schedule. I feed them twice a day unless specified, give baths once every other week and as needed. If they don't seem to be enjoying an activity changing it or making the situation better. Trust and respect are very important. The wishes of the owners or parents will be followed and hope to give your pet the best care while you are away

“Erica came over to meet my dog before her first walk, to make sure she knew where everything was and to get acquainted with Molly beforehand. She took Molly on a great walk and sent me a picture while they were out. I could tell Molly was having a great time :) Thank you for taking great care of Molly and making me feel at ease knowing she was getting much-needed exercise while we were gone!”

About: I started a pet-sitting and babysitting business with my brother in third grade. I’ve loved animals my whole life! I am a graduate student at MTU and would love some animal time (: I am quite busy, but it depends on the week/ day! My schedule will be changing quite a bit this summer - I will be working remotely. I do not own pets, but I have a dog back at my family home who I have helped take care of for a long time (:

“Amazing with my Tito. Thank you Ava for being so awesome.”

About: I absolutely love animals and would be happy to meet your pet and take care of him/her. I have lived with everything from huskies to geckos so I know my fair share around animals. Additionally, I previously volunteered at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, at which I worked in the wildlife department to help care for the animals and spent time in college handling wild animals. I have dealt with many incidents involving my dog so am prepared to jump into action if they get into trouble. I am young so long walks are no problem. My current experience for sitting pets has been with dogs, cats, goats, tortoises, chickens, and fish. As a fellow animal lover, I know how important a pet can be. He/she is a family member, and that is why I will give him/her the attention and love they deserve while you are away. Whether going on a walk in the park to discover new scents, or comforting your pet during a thunder storm, I will be as responsive to his/her needs as if the pet were my own. Additional Update: I spent 8 months working at an Emergency Veterinary Clinic where I learned a great deal about working with dogs/cats and am able to perform basic CPR should your pet require it. I am currently working in the area part-time with a local Audubon Chapter. In my spare time, I am available to check-in, walk, or stay overnight with your pet(s). My schedule is variable and flexible due to weather and job goals. I always keep safety in mind when taking care of another living creature, and have experience with environmental concerns like skunks, traffic, and even other dogs. My wildlife knowledge also plays into this as taking a pet to a park can sometimes mean stumbling into a predator. My experience working at a Veterinary Clinic expanded my skills and knowledge of dogs and cats alike.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have taken care of dogs for family and friends many times over the last 10 years. I love every type of dog! If you have kitties, I am a crazy cat lady! I'd love to hang out with your cats. I’m currently a grad student at MTU, so I have a flexible schedule. I can walk your dogs or check in on kitties in between classes and hang out with them while I study. Mornings are preferable but I’m available at other times, too. I cannot host any pet clients in my home, but I can travel to your home to check in on your pet or walk your dog.

“I’ve seen and heard so much about all the ways Lexi has cared for her childhood pets! She is super trustworthy and will treat your fur babies with so much love.”

Ava H.

“Amazing with my Tito. Thank you Ava for being so awesome.”

Dana H.
“I can highly recommend Dana for pet sitting. She has been around and cared for my animals for several years now. She is good with everything from Dogs to chickens. She listens well to instructions, is energetic, conscientious and smart. The animals love her and so do we. ”

Ellie H.
“Ellie cared for our 6 year old golden retriever, Bonnie, about 6 weeks after she had knee surgery. During this time, Bonnie was limited in her activity and had to do physical therapy each day. Not only did Ellie make sure that Bonnie did her daily exercises the week we were gone, she also found time to cuddle Bonnie everyday. When you come home from a trip and you can smell another woman's perfume on your dog - you know they have been loved! Ellie also went above and beyond by washing the sheets off of the bed she was staying on and folding them with such precision I knew that no one that lives here did that laundry.”
