About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. To me they aren't just pets, but an extension of family. I am willing to help in your home with check - ins, walking and feeding. I am available to help with all pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, amphibians, & fish). My hours of availability are 8 am - 12 am Sun - Sat most weeks for care in your home and / or walking / check in services. I'm a homemaker and pet care is a top priority for me now, as my children are grown. My schedule is pretty open unless I have previously scheduled appointments. I prefer 48 hours or more notice for bookings. Must have a meet & greet to go over your pet care needs and how to access your home before first booking. While at your home, I will care for your pet(s) as we have discussed during the meet & greet. I will get to know your pet(s) personally while spending time with them and care for them as if they are my own. Special needs & administering medicine are not a problem. I enjoy walking leash trained dogs, playing with them and cuddles as well as head boops & cuddles with cats too. I am comfortable with the care of most common household pets, including feeding, cleaning, and routine care.

About: Hello, I’m Kirsten. I have been actively dog sitting for the last 5 years in and around Washington county and Frederick county. As well as the surrounding areas. (Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) As of September 2026 we do have a newborn. I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
