“Where do I start. Kiana did an amazing job. Was right on time for every walk, great with communication and all together just a good person to make you feel safe. My dogs are my babies, and she took care of them as if they were her own. Will be rebooking with her.”

About: I’m fortunate to have experience with a wide variety of animals thanks to my cousins, who have two cats, three dogs, a turtle, and a horse. I help care for their pets regularly, so I’m comfortable meeting the unique needs of animals of all kinds and treating each one like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m currently finishing up breast cancer treatment and have intentionally chosen pet sitting as my primary work. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and being able to provide reliable, loving care while I’m in this season of life has been incredibly rewarding. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. At my home, pets have access to a securely fenced backyard for supervised play, exercise, and potty breaks, along with plenty of attention, affection, and a comfortable place to relax. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other care instructions. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
“Brandon has been wonderful with my dog. She gets very excited when she sees him. Great communication. He is always on time. Very responsive and very professional. 100% recommended!”

“Mariah accepted my request last minute and was a huge help. She went above and beyond when walking my pup on an abnormally hot day to make sure he didn't overheat. Great communication. Will request her help again.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is I’ve taken care of pets from 0 years old to 16, multiple pets at a time, from cats to dogs to hamsters, and I love to do so more than anything. I can take care of your pet part time, based on your needs! I can do frequent check ins and walks through out the day, stay for extended periods of time, or even house sit. My only off time is I currently work 11-7 on Saturdays and Sundays. I have a fenced, open yard with plenty of room for your pup to enjoy. I can also offer them enrichment with toys, treats, and another playful, well behaved pup who lives right upstairs.
About: I have lots of animals and lots of love. I am great with all animals and even insects, reptiles and more. I am local to Crete, Illinois. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
