I have started my home based doggy daycare, and I will care for your four legged baby to fill my past time with something I love and provide them with my undivided attention. About: I grew up in a household of large dogs, I am very good at reading body language, and I have an incredible amount of free time to dedicate to any extra needs! I am currently available everyday and any drop off hour works for me. I wake up with the sun so morning walks will be a breeze as I also live down the street from a park and down the road from a forest preserve. I live in a 6-bedroom house, occupied by two adults, backyard is not closed in, but there are many nearby parks available for playtime. 3 pets, 2 bearded dragons enclosed in a separated terrarium which is located upstairs, and a 7 month old cane corso. About: I have Pet Sitting Insurance, WFH, & accept only one furry friend at a time! For safety reasons, please do not book me if your dog is not leash trained. My name is Ericka and I got my first dog, Sadie, at 16. When I was 21, I got my own dog Frannie while in college. I have been pet sitting for friends and family the past five years and have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and senior dogs. I have experience with giving dogs eyedrops and pills via pill pockets. I can administer medication like these. I would need to know if your dog has any aggression towards receiving medication or if they like to sneakily spit pills out. I currently work from home full time, so your furry friend will be constantly supervised! I will be able to play with them when they want and provide many potty breaks throughout the day. I live in a second floor apartment where there are stairs. If your dog is not crate trained that is okay - I work from home and your dog will be constantly supervised.

I have taken care of a 1-year-old cat along with 3 other adult cats, including a cat who required at least 30 minutes of playtime and interaction every day. I have also cared for a large dog who ate home-cooked soup mixed with his food at specific feeding times, as well as a husky who stayed in an air-conditioned dog house unit and required daily vitamins and attentive care. I am good at following direction for the desired care you and your pet need. I work remotely and any activities I plan I would plan around a schedule if at all with the pet in mind. “Mercedes has been nothing but wonderful. She took great care of our puppy who was only 5 months old. There was never a moment I had to worry about my dog not being in good care. She kept us updated, sent lots of pictures, and ensured us she was having a great time. She took our puppy on many walks and played with her lots! Her husband and her kids also loved the dog and got many pictures of them cuddling with her. I cannot recommend her enough, and went above and beyond! Mercedes is passionate about taking care of dogs and her kids and husband also have a deep love for animals. Next time we got out of town she will be the first person we call and recommend her to all our family and friends!”
“Thaaaannnkkk you Toya! She was wonderful throughout the whole process. Great communication, was able to accommodate only a few days prior of notification, and flexible with the booking! Dropoff was easy, and my dog didn't even bark when she came out (always a good sign of a dog person!). Of course he would have a small incident in her residence, Toya was informative in what happened and was still patient and kind. We would definitely consider using her again.”
