“Kat was a good send, last minute I was in need of someone to come and take care of my 7th month old puppy and stay at my place. She responded to my post in hours and was flexible as I figured out If it could work. She agreed to come and meet me first so we can connect since this was the first time I had ever hired a dog sitter. She took great care of my puppy and it was clear she is a natural. She took our pupp6 to her office well she worked, which was great because I meant she was never alone for too long. She took great care of the house and left it in great shape. I'm so glad that I found Kat for the next time. We need a do sitter.”

“Asa was great with my boys and sent daily photos and info. I felt like I could relax on my trip knowing my cat and dog were being well taken care of! Would definitely request Asa again! 😁”

“Elliot was a great pet-sitter, house-sitter and companion for our kitten Pinot! With his daily updates and pix, we had great piece of mind knowing that Pinot was is good hands and had lots of play time when we were away.”

“Dorothy was amazing in every way! We had just moved to the area and needed someone caring and reliable to help with our senior Labrador and our very high-energy Malinois. They are completely opposite in terms of personalities and needs, which can be a little challenging at times. Dorothy came to meet them twice before housesitting for us for a few days. She took great care to remember the tons of details that we had discussed, which helped ensure that they were both completely comfortable. She also left our home in immaculate condition. I know the pups were sorry when she had to leave! We look forward to seeing her again soon. Highly recommend!”

“Gabriel was extremely patient with our two rescues giving each the attention the needier one thrives on, while giving space to our more nervous pooch until she warmed up to him. Both in just the right amounts to make our dogs feel more relaxed and secure. Thank you Gabriel!”

“We had Elizabeth house sit and look after our 2 pups while we were out of town for an event for a few days. We also have some chickens in the back yard that required minimal attention but Elizabeth was so kind to look over them as well. She went above and beyond to make sure the pups were happy and comfortable and followed instructions that we left. If we ever need someone to look over them again. I hope we’ll be able to book with Elizabeth.”

“Brianna was wonderful. She's done drop in visits for me before, but this was the first time for housesitting and overnight petsitting. I was gone for a week and she took great care of my girls. They were happy to see me when I got back, but not anxious or upset. Will absolutely hire Brianna again. She is reliable, communicative, and lovely to work with.”

“Ron took care of our two dogs overnight. He initially came over for a meet and greet, which was helpful. He’s a great communicator and sent us lots of pics and updates. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since high school! Neighbors, friends, and family have counted on me to dog & house sit, feed, bathe, take their dogs on walks or to the park, etc. No breed is too big or too small. I have my own golden retriever pup, Charlie, who has been a beautiful addition to our family. I’m not stranger to energetic fun loving dogs! I am an elementary school teacher! With that, I work from 7am-2:30pm M-F. After school on days and anytime on the weekends I’m available to provide care to your doggies! I have a fully fenced large backyard! With my own pup we enjoy going on long hikes, playing catch, or daily walks around our neighborhood.

About: Understanding this is your first baby I will care for them with so much love and care. I have integrity, am responsible for your family member. I work part-time so I will have the flexibility to care for your pet and am available on the weekends. On my shorter days I can do potty check ins as well. I have a fenced in backyard and love going on walks or or just hang out inside. I can adapt to any special requests to stick with ones already set in routines.

“Angela is so great with our sweet dog! Remi took an immediate liking to Angela and that says alot!! My husband and I feel very comfortable leaving Remi with her! She's greatl!! ❤️”

“Tyler and Sam were great! They took great care of our dog, were respectful of our home, and were very communicative. When we got home our dog was a happy boy and our house was spotless. Would be happy to book them again!”

“Victoria was our house-sitter for 5 days for our two herder mix 4 year old litter mates Shemp and his sister LIttle Bear. Victoria was absolutely fabulous. She bonded immediately with the pups and was very affectionate and responsive to them. She was easy to work with as we briefed her on our layout and routine for the dogs and our house. She was thoughtful in her daily activities and updates, and had the dogs best interests at heart in making sure they had fun and exercise and training. We would ask Victoria back again in a heartbeat.”

“Gillian was very good in replying to my comments leading up to the petsitting. She watched our low-needs cat and high-anxiety rescue dog. When we got home a few hours later, both pets were in good spirits; no shaking or hiding. We will definitely call on Gillian in the future.”

About: I've grown up with dogs throughout my entire life, but I've recently moved out of my parents house as I'm pursuing my undergraduate degree at UC Davis. My dogs have moved to Italy, and I miss them a lot. Also, I am also looking to earn some money to put towards my education and my future. So, taking care of your pets is a win-win! I have years of experience raising puppies, spending time with feisty kittens, taking care of senior dogs, and playing with pets of all activity levels—from mellow to boundless energy. My approach to pets is to meet them where they are at by understanding their behavioral cues. Each pet has a different personality that comes with unique physical and emotional needs, and I will prioritize understanding and addressing those. I will make sure your pet feels respected and comfortable in my care. Also, your trust in me is of utmost importance. I know that it takes a lot to have someone you don't know well look after your pet. I will prioritize communication, sending photos and updates, so you have peace of mind! I appreciate your trust! I have finished school, and I am currently on summer break! I have a very open schedule, so I can care for your pet any day of the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors daily and staying active, so I am also available for dog walks. I know many dog-walking spots around Sonoma County because I grew up here with dogs I walked regularly, including fenced-in runs, short walks, or big open spaces, depending on your dog's needs. I have a fenced-in back and front patio, and I can crate your pet as well. I do not have any pets in my home at this time. I can take your pet outside to a beautiful open-space walk being just a step outside. If your pet enjoys a swim, I am a short drive from the Glen Ellen reservoir, and I would be happy to take him or her there! I am also prepared to take care of pets with high activity levels who need daily runs in open space.

“Mackenzie is an amazing pet caregiver! My dog, Beatrice, has a lot of energy and loves to break rules. She’s known to make a run for it, which makes us nervous to trust her with other people, but Mackenzie was able to help us with her and help us keep peace of mind that she was in good hands! Even if your dog is loud, big, pretends not to know her own name, and makes sassy faces like my Beatrice, Mackenzie will do a good job caring for them!”

Sonoma Vista pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bear was an excellent pet sitter! He was respectful, reliable, and took great care of Kitty. Communication was smooth throughout, and I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures. It was reassuring to know my pet was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Bear to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Victoria and Atticus are new BFFs! Victoria was very attuned to my senior dog and his quirks and needs. I very much appreciated the regular communication and photos/videos of their daily activities. It made being away from the big guy so much easier! I would highly recommend Victoria for your pup’s care!

Penny LOVED Yazmin (she told us so very enthusiastically). Yazmin kept us informed of Penny's well-being and sent pictures of her (Penny, not Yazmin) lounging around like at the spa. Yazmin was very flexible with time which was helpful as one of us couldn't get back to the Bay Area at the previously scheduled time.
