Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. “We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

“We came to Ithaca to attend my son’s college graduation and didn’t want to leave our little dog alone. Ashley was very quick to respond to our inquiry. She and her family (including a cute cavalier King Charles) are so sweet. Our little pup Lily had a great time under their care. Ashley sent us the most adorable pictures of Lily and her young son. I would love to send Lily back to her if we come back to Ithaca.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 3 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 2 year old Irish terrier mix who ha unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! I currently work remotely, and plan on continuing this. I have open availability. For Drop off or pick up my hours are between 8am - 8pm. I am also available most weekends! I want any pet at my home feel safe secure and happy. I love to curl up with pets, watch a good show. Or go out into the yard and play games. I also would with permission from the pet parents to go on long walks. I miss having fuzzies and would give them all my heart and soul.

About: I have been caring for our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Since I was a teenager, I would watch 2 Yorkies for a family friend where they would stay with me in my family's home and receive plenty of cuddles, play and outdoor time for potty breaks. From that point on, I have watched dogs for family and friends within their homes or in my home for years. Whatever special requirements your pup may have, I can meet their needs and ensure they receive extra pampering and cuddles for the time they are away from you. I have cared for puppies in the process of being crate trained, potty trained and wee wee pad trained. I have also cared for senior dogs who need daily medications administered, have challenges with arthritis or losing sight. Whatever stage your fur baby is in, I can care for them at that stage. I know how important it is to know that your furry family member is being cared for and loved just as much you would is a great relief. Knowing your fur baby will be in the most loving and capable hands allows you to go about your daily routines or go on vacations with your mind at ease. I am currently staying at home and have availability most days and weekends. I have 1 dog at home who gets along very well with all dogs, big and small alike. I have a spacious home with plenty of space for dogs to curl up and cuddle or soak in some sun warmth. Additionally, I have a fenced in yard for getting out and getting the zoomies out when needed. Multiple walks a day 2-3x (depending on day care, or if boarding more, and individual dog's needs) to the nearby park.

About: I have experience with all different breeds of dogs of all different sizes and ages. I have a range of experience in care such as administering eye drops and insulin, as well as bathing. I take care of my own pets daily and would love to help others do the same. I’m currently taking a break from schooling so am very available for their needs. I feed my families 2 dogs and a cat, I have had many pets in my life and cared for them all attentively and lovingly. I can pick up on small behavioral changes in case somethings wrong and am very observant of their health and well being.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and family members dogs growing up. We adopted a senior pit during the pandemic who is the sweetest dog ever. I am a teacher available to walk or care for your pet during the summer while on break! I am about to go on summer vacation from school so my schedule is going to open up. I am available most weekends and during the day. I have the friendliest pitbull in the world. We live in a quiet neighborhood. I have two levels of our house with a baby gate if you’d rather keep your dog separate. We love to go on walks!

About: I've had years of experience caring animals as a pet sitter, veterinary technician,shelter volunteer as well as pet mom to many fuzzy, scaly, and feathered friends. I'm a mother of school aged children and I have a very flexible schedule including day,evening,and weekend hours. Short notice requests can usually be accomodated. I'm very comfortable reading animal body language. I have a very people/dog friendly dog who loves to join in on a walk if your dog would like the company.

About: Miranda has grown up in a home with furry friends since she was 6 months old! Everyone in the family has always had dogs. Miranda has raised 3 of her own from being a puppy to a full grown fur baby! Charles has also grown up his entire life with dogs running around his house. Please do keep in mind that we are dog sitters not dog trainers... If your pooch is destructive or disobedient; please let us know before hand, those kind of surprises are not always fun. We are currently at home full time due to the pandemic and being unemployed which means we will be available for you whenever you need us! We live in a ranch style home with a big fenced in back yard perfect for running and playing! We have a 5 year old boxer who we call Hazel that loves to sun bathe on the back porch as well. We do have a 1 year old kitty in the house who is Hazels best friend and her name is Baby Kitty. She loves to play and cuddle with dogs too. We have added another kitty who is a munchkin and she is a little over 3 months old and her name is Bentley! We are BIG dog lovers so we can assure you, your furry legged friend will get the most love you could imagine while in our care! About: I have an extreme amount of expierence when it comes to training, administration of medicines, as well as daily excersize and feeding routines. I've owned and trained several dogs from a pomeranian to a coonhound and or a newfoundland. I've studied animal behaviors and just love working with animals. They been my passion since I was little and am currently studying to be a vet tech. Daily walks will be given as well as a learning game. I'm very flexible just need an advanced notice. Can provide updates upon request. I'm very excited to be working with your animals soon. Please provide breed, daily routine, any medications, as well as precautions to be aware of including any quarky behaviors willing to accomodate every animals needs.
