About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
