“This was my first time using Rover. Heather B. was amazing! She cared for my two cats for 7 days, 1x/day. The daily timing of visits was consistent with what was agreed upon. The photos and notes she posted were so complete and helpful that I really felt comfortable with my decision to use Rover, and especially picking Heather B. This experience has helped inspire me to travel more, knowing my kitties are in good hands!”

“Willow is very attentive to the needs of my pets (2 cats) and detailed in the summaries of their visits (took very nice photos of my cats). She is responsible, punctual, and knew how to administer the medications to my cats. I felt very safe and happy with her service, I recommend her 100%”

“Jessa was the best catsitter I could have asked for for my first time using Rover! She took great care of my three-year-old, extremely cuddly Siamese cat. We had a meet-and-greet a few days before I required her services, which helped to show me that she was capable of taking great care of my cat. I was greeted each day with a written update and photos of my cat, which helped ease my anxiety about leaving him alone for a few days. I came back to the apartment just the way I had left it, with a happy cat! I will be booking Jessa for my future vacations. Thank you so much!”

“Barbara was so attentive, kind and all around lovely with the care of our cat. He is a nervous guy when we go away and Barbara made sure he was well fed, snuggled and given the attention he needed. Sent us great pics and clips of him. We will 100% have Barbara as our sitter in the future. Thank you so much for caring for our guy while we were away!”

About: I have been taking care of my neighbors, family, friends, and my own dog/pets for 10 years including walks, feeding, watching, and helping train. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as injured or sick dogs. I am currently in a local college for health care. I am free all day Saturday-Monday and after 3 Tuesday-Friday. I have transportation and can drive a reasonable distance. I would follow any rules you have set for your dog (ex. food allowed, walking requirements, type of leash/collar for walks, and if they need to be crated or not) I would be able and willing to provide any medical care needed as long as I am shown how to correctly.

About: I have 1 dog that is a golden retriever. I’ve had pets all my life and love taking care of them. I will walk, pet and give plenty belly rubs as needed. My schedule is pretty flexible. Ask me and I can accommodate. I am free most mornings and evenings. Let me know if you need any adjustments I offer overnight boarding and allow pets to sleep in the bed, on the couch or a crate. (You tell me how you want sleep!)

“Sydney is the best! She is extremely helpful, professional and attentive to my dog's needs. She is always on time and thorough with her visits. Couldn't ask for a better sitter!”

“Jen is INCREDIBLE! She was the best Rover pet sitter we’ve had. She gave our sweet cat tons of love and attention and sent us many pictures. Beans has kidney disease and Jen was great with her food and care. She also cleaned up an accident that our cat had and was very gracious about it. I could not recommend her more highly. Jen, we hope to have you help us out again soon!!”

“It was our cockatiel's first time being cared for by a sitter and Lynne did an amazing job providing us with updates and being attentive to our baby's needs. Our bird is normally very wary and mistrusting of strangers but she seemed already friendly with Lynne by the end of the week! I would trust Lynne to watch over her again”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the lifetime of experience I bring to every pet I care for. I grew up in a home filled with both cats and dogs, so understanding animal behavior, communication, and comfort has always been second nature to me. I treat each pet like family—patient, attentive, and genuinely in tune with their needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who loves walks or a shy dog who just needs quiet companionship, I adjust my care to fit their personality. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel truly at home. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets! Since I also work my summer job, the times that work best for me are in the mornings and evenings. My approach to pet care is all about creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment—whether in my home or yours. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care while their owner is away.

About: Hello! My name is Jackie, I’m a recent college grad from the Albany area. I love working with animals, I’ve been dog and cat sitting for neighbors for the last decade or so (drop in visits, feeding, walks, playing, etc.). Along with neighborhood work, I’ve been volunteering at German Shepherd Rescue of New York on and off for 8 years, where I met my boy Zeke! I also worked as a dog washer and doggy daycare worker as a summer job in high school, where I had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many pups. As of right now, I’m working Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 8AM-4PM, but I am more than willing to do pet care before or after my shift starts! All other days, my schedule is completely open. Because of my own dog, Zeke, I can’t keep any other animals at my house, but I’m more than happy to take care of them at your place! I always make sure that the animals I take care of are comfortable with me and feel safe around me, especially in their own space.
