About: Caring, loving, responsible, punctual, trustworthy pet/house sitter and dog walker servicing the Fletcher, Arden, Asheville, Hendersonville, Etowah, and Flat Rock areas. I had dogs and cats in my home growing up and into my adult years. I have 4 years of experience as a pet/house sitter in USA and abroad with great reviews. I can help with dog walking and pet/house sitting, including staying in the home with your pet(s), feeding, walking dogs, caring for and giving love in your absence. I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I would love to incorporate time with pets into my weekly routine by being given the opportunity to care for, feed, walk dogs, playing, and giving love to furry friends. Providing you with peace of mind as you are at work or out of town. I am available Monday through Friday and flexible for weekend when needed. I will be providing care for your pet(s) in your home. I will abide by house rules and any instructions provided by the owner for the care of pet(s) and home. I will provide a safe, fun, loving, and caring environment for your pet(s) in your absence.

About: For eight years, I volunteered with the Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh, NC, where I fostered 60 dogs—from newborn puppies to senior dogs and every age and personality in between. While I’m not a certified dog trainer, I’ve worked with pups who had anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, medical needs, and even deafness (I taught one dog 15 different signs!). I’ve handled recovery care after surgery, heartworm treatment, skin and eye issues, potty training, and medication routines that required attention multiple times a day. I feel confident and comfortable with any dog—big or small, shy or hyper, special needs or seniors. I haven’t had to give injectable medication before, but I’m completely comfortable learning and have no hesitation. I work part-time as an assistant for a local Asheville artist. I’m often able to adjust my hours around your pet’s needs, especially for midday walks, extended stays, or regular check-ins. Pet care isn’t just something I fit into my day—it’s a huge part of what makes me feel grounded, happy, and fulfilled. I haven’t fostered since moving to Asheville, and working with dogs again is a way I’m reconnecting with that part of myself. I share custody of three senior dogs—now 14, 13, and 12—and they’ve been with me most of their lives. My 13-year-old tripod, a boxer-hound mix, lives with me full-time and is my best friend. Because of him, I’m especially tuned into the needs of older or special-needs pets. At home, I live in an apartment with three private dog parks on the property. They’re usually empty, which gives us a safe place to play, run, or just sniff around. For boarding, your dog will need to meet mine first to ensure everyone vibes well together. In your home, I always do a meet & greet beforehand to get to know your pet and their environment, plus give you a chance to get to know me. Through my years of volunteering at a busy municipal shelter, I’ve developed a strong ability to read dog body language—whether that means giving space to a nervous dog, redirecting rough play, or stepping in safely if a situation escalates. I also know how to interrupt and break up dog fights safely, though I do everything possible to prevent them from happening in the first place! Your pet’s comfort and safety, and mine, are my top priorities- wherever we are.

About: I am huge pet lover and throughly enjoy my drop in visits with animals. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to spend time with your pets. I am looking forward to speaking more about your needs. My schedule is pretty flexible. I generally do home visits first thing in the morning and in the evenings. I am happy to walk pets as well. I have a fenced in backyard but it isn’t super high if your dog is a jumper. I can walk/watch the dogs for bathroom breaks as well.

About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life. I have 3 labs of my own. My heart is with animals and I love them all! I am grateful to spend time with your babies & love them like my own. They are such gifts to us. I work park time and make my schedule up myself so I am free for dog walks most week days with some availability on weekends. I have a fenced in yard & 3 labs of my own. I will play with your dog to get energy out, walk, play fetch, whatever you ask! And of course plenty of belly rubs (if they are open to them of course)

About: I love dogs and wish that I could afford one of my own! I grew up with multiple dogs, big and small, cats too. I honestly love walking too so this seems like the perfect fit for me. I am a gentle and kind person who will take good care of your pup. I will take them on walks around town, hikes in the woods, or play a good game of fetch on the green! Always picking up after the dogs to keep this town clean. I usually work in the mornings but am free most afternoons. Please let me know if you are interested in working with me! I can't wait to meet you and your precious pup (or multiple pups)! Give me a bark when you're ready :)

About: I’m a registered nurse that also loves animals and would love to walk your pet on my days off. I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I work 3 days a week so I have 4 other days of the week to play around with for your pet’s needs. I have 2 dogs of my own as well so I am familiar with caring for dogs. I would care for anyone’s pet as if they are my own. I love all types of animals and treat them with the utmost respect and care.

About: Hi! I’m a 20-something professional - former teacher - who’s been in Asheville for about a year. I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we’ve had everything from chihuahuas to Great Pyreneeses. Through volunteering at various animal rescue organizations, I’ve been a foster parent for rescue dogs as well as underaged, orphaned kittens. I’ve also helped train medical service dogs. Presently, I have two pets: a hyper husky mix, Rosie, and a tuxedo kitty, Boo. I’m an animal lover and I have experience with a variety of animals of varying sizes and ages. I’ve had puppies and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats. As someone who has been involved in rescues, I’m also not a stranger to dealing with the issues that sometimes come with rescue animals, like reactivity or fear. Feel free to reach out to me if you’re interested in specifics or have any questions :) I work full-time but I am remote Wednesdays and Thursdays. Evenings work best for me but I am flexible on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am generally free Friday through Sunday. I am more than happy to meet all required needs of your pet while caring for them in your home, including frequent potty breaks, walks, and/or trips to nearby parks.

I would only need a few hours of the day to complete my school work, if I am watching your dog during school. I currently work a full time job (8-5p) with an hour break in the Arden area. I am opening to spending my lunch break with your pup(s) so that they aren’t alone all day. When it comes to caring for your pet in your home. I would like to know if there’s any specific way you raise, train, or feed your pet

We adopted the two brother pups, and my manager adopted their sister—all thanks to Megan's dedication and compassion for dogs in need. Megan has rescued and fostered countless dogs over the years, giving each one a second chance at life. Her unwavering commitment to these animals—many of whom came from heartbreaking situations—is nothing short of inspiring. She gives them love, safety, and hope when they need it most, preparing them for the forever homes they deserve. Our pups, now grown and thriving, are a daily reminder of Megan's incredible impact. Skyland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alexis is beyond my expectations having never employed a dog walker before. She is so kind, skilled and very instructional in giving me great tips to help manner a growing 10 month old high-energy dog. She is always on time, caring and a tremendous value! Gunner loved his time with Alexis and waited at the door daily for her to come.

Sarah is truly wonderful! She’s been amazing with my two Labrador Retrievers, Trooper and Daisy. She’s so sweet, patient, and knows exactly how to handle them — they absolutely love her and are always so excited to see her. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands. If you’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and trustworthy to walk or play with your dogs, I highly recommend Sarah. She’s the best!
