About: My whole life has always been surrounded by the love of a dog. As young as 12 years old, I was helping parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends in any way I could with their beloved pets. Currently, I have my own sweet baby: a 6-year-old female golden retriever named Maggie. When I am not home with my pets, I volunteer at 2 local veterinary clinics. I am currently attending college, ultimately seeking my doctorate in veterinary medicine. I make it my goal, no matter where I am, to treat every animal with the love I would like my own to receive. I plan to share this love and care with your pets in all aspects of my work! I am currently home for the summer. I work at two veterinary clinics throughout the day, as well as partake in two online college courses. With all that said, I am free before nine daily and tend to be done between 5 or 6 p.m. I also have a two-hour window on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Although my schedule is pretty full, I really enjoy pet sitting in what free time I do have. I can make my schedule decently flexible and open, depending on your pet care needs. Please feel free to reach out and ask any scheduling questions, or to see if I can move things around to fit your needs! When it comes to me being in or around your house for the sake of your pets, I will treat it with the same and care and respect I would expect for my own. I will be unavailable to care for your pets in my home for extended periods of time but for a short day stay I do have a large yard and two very friendly and playful medium/ large sized dogs of my own!

I work a very flexible schedule and I am able to make my schedule most weeks! I care for others pets by showing them love and taking care of them while the owners are gone. I always hate leaving my pets when we go on vacation, but knowing their is someone who is taking my dogs out and showing them attention and love always reassures me!

I graduated high school in 2007 and landed my first job at a veterinary clinic a few months later. In 2008, I enrolled in school for medical assisting and completed my degree in 2010. I then decided that I love animals way more than humans. 😉 I am experienced with handling all breeds and sizes and trained to deal with any situations that may or may not occur. I live in a quiet and safe subdivision. Walks, cuddles and play time are free here! 😁 I currently work at an animal hospital however, I do not work long hours so I will be home with your baby every day. If they need to be seperate, that is not a problem. I can provide a kennel if needed as well.

Available only on weekends Friday Saturday Sunday have a full time job during the week involving patient care that take up a lot of my time When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where the pet feels secure and loved. I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I take safety seriously—whether it’s ensuring the home is pet-proof, using secure leashes and harnesses, or monitoring interactions with other animals. Building trust is key, so I take time to bond with each pet, giving them attention, reassurance, and affection so they feel at ease in my care.

“She was great. Very reliable when we needed her to drop in visit Xmas day and the day after. Champ loves her and she gives great updates. Will use again anytime we go out of town.”

About: Hi I’m Eliza! I moved to beautiful Knoxville, TN almost 2 years ago from Utah. I am a huge country girl and I love being outdoors exploring and going on fun adventures, hikes, and discovering beautiful places! I have a 4 year old pit bull/cane corso Named Bullet who loves to play with other dogs and take long naps. He is trained to be an emotional support dog so I will have to bring him everywhere I go, no exceptions. I always try to take my dog for a 30 min walk every day to get him the exercise he needs after being in a apartment all day. I always make sure to schedule play time for my pet and pets that I watch to ensure in creating a bond and getting exercise into their day if I am not able to take them for a walk.

“OMG ELIZA IS AMAZING!!!!! My wife and I have always traveled a lot, but when we got our precious pups it made it hard to do so!.... 😢. Until Eliza came I to the picture we were home bound. Always.... Eliza was amazing at walking, playing, cuddling, and feeding our dogs on the schedule we had in place for them. She even home sat for us at the same time! Amazing service, everything was in place as it should and was left in better condition than when we left! She sent us pictures of our pups regularly as we were out of town. We ALWAYS use Eliza when she’s available (which is tough because she’s HIGHLY sought after for dog/house sitting!). As much as We wanna hog her to ourselves, she deserves the credit due to her. USE HER ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE! You won’t regret it!”
