About: Hey there! My name is Rachel and I live with my husband, our 2 daughters, 3 doggies and 2 kitties. I have many years of experience with dogs because my family growing up has always had a house (and yard) full of them. I have also offered dog-sitting to neighbors and friends/family in the past. The more wagging tails the merrier! I would be happy to offer any home visits to check on your fur babies to walk, feed or even play with them. I will also offer in-home boarding to dogs of all sizes as long as they are not aggressive since I do have other animals and children. We have a fenced backyard and live on more than 70 acres of land where I can offer leashed walks and potty breaks. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. Currently, my schedule is Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: Available after 10:45 am Wednesday: Unavailable Thursday: Available after 10:45 am Friday: Available after 10:50 am Saturday and Sunday: Open availability I am able to come and stay in your home, as well as check in on your pup every 2-4 hours to ensure everything is okay. I am a night owl, so late-night check-ups are no problem for me either! I try to keep the environment as close to your routine as possible. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
