About: Hi, I'm Jaela! I’m an elementary school teacher, and animals of all ages and sizes have been the absolute center of my world for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by a wide variety of animals, which taught me from a very young age how to read animal body language, handle different temperaments, and provide compassionate, patient care. Throughout high school and college, I regularly watched and walked dogs and cats. I love house sitting because it allows your pets to stay completely relaxed in their own environment while maintaining their exact daily routines. About: For my 10th birthday I got a golden retriever. She was my best friend and sparked such a love for animals in me. I’ve taken care of every farm animal you could think of, every kind of dog ranging in every size, I love all cats and have cared for many as well! I’m doing schooling online and I’m extremely flexible on a day to day basis and on weekends as well. I wake up early and go to sleep early typically so I can adjust to whatever feeding schedule any animal may be on. I have a very large property with woods and lots of room to run around. I live on a road I take daily walks on. I have a large house and a barn outside as well. I’m flexible depending on what your fur baby is most comfortable with. I can offer a lot of exercise, cuddles, they can sleep in a crate if that makes them comfortable or they can sleep out of the crate.

About: I’ve always been asked to take care of animals by friends and family. I’ve always been asked to pet sit due to my love for animals and my ability to love them as my own. About: I’ve always had dogs, ever since I was born, so I have a LOT of experience! I have been trusted with my friends’ pets as well, going over to their houses to take care of the dogs and play with them! I am working part-time right now, so I have pretty good flexibility when it comes to needing someone to come and take care of your pets. I can do some weekends and weekdays. I am not available Wednesday evenings after 4. I will feed them (a certain amount of times a day if that is what you normally do) and make sure they have plenty of water. If they normally go in a crate during the day/at night, I can do that for you as well.

About: I have taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and cats since I was around 12 years old. I grew up with 4-5 dogs and cats at a time, as well as reptiles and amphibians. I have four dogs of my own now. I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as Great Danes. I’ve also cared for puppies and kittens, and have helped in the delivery process of nine German shepherd/Pitbull mixes. I fostered several sets of kittens while I was in high school. I did dog obedience and agility with my childhood dogs for 5 years or so when I was younger, and also went to private obedience lessons, so I am confident I can handle and care for any dog. I am a responsible pet owner as I believe in spay/neuter, I train and walk all of my dogs 4-8 days a month, I have a large fenced in backyard for them, and I keep them happy and healthy. I hope all of this will show you that I am the perfect person to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am also a photographer so I can take some pretty cute photos of your babies for you while you are away! I also offer training services outside of this app. I am working to get enough experience training so I can become certified. If you are interested, please let me know! I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time. I will get up as early or stay up as late as needed to care for your pet. Prices explained: House sitting- $200/night. I have had multiple people try to book house sitting jobs with me and then are shocked by the price. The reason for the price being $200/night and so much higher than my check-in and dog walking prices is because I have to factor in drive time, mileage, and gas that it takes me to get to your home in back, as well as trips I will have to make in between to come home and care for my own dogs and to shower and eat as well as the hours I’m spending at your home overnight. I am away from my own home/bed, family, and dogs so I can do a job that requires me to stay somewhere most of the day and overnight to care for living beings. Because of that, I am going to charge a flat rate of $200 that covers the moment I leave my home to when I return after the last day, which includes every night I spend in your home. If you require me to stay in your home overnight for the job, I will not do it for free. Rover also takes 20% of my earnings, so I am actually only making $160/night. If you break it down, say I’m there for around 12 hours for an overnight house sitting job, I’m only making around $13/hour. If you do not require me to stay overnight, my check in and dog walking prices are much more affordable and I can check in several times a day and stay for up to an hour each time. Also, please list each animal in your home on your profile. As many other Rover sitters, I charge per animal. If there is only one dog on your profile, I expect to only be caring for one dog. It is an additional $10 or less per additional dog, depending on which service you book. I have previously talked about how I care for my dogs in my home, but I will not be offering any kind of in home care as two of my dogs are reactive. However, at the client’s home, I can follow any instructions on care down to the very last detail. I can provide your pet with cuddles and playtime if they are comfortable with it. I can walk them as well, for any amount of time or distance. I will meet your needs and your pet’s needs!

About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle! I love making sure the fur babies are taking care of with love and respect! I currently work a full time job, M-T from 7 to 5, which is the main reason of dog sitting on the weekends! I can do full weeks just need to know ahead of time to be able to discuss with work! The best option is to have them at the client’s home, animals are always comfortable when at home and a place they know! It’s already scary that a stranger is in there house but much better than a scary car ride into a new house!

About: I’ve lived with a dog my entire life (other than my 4 years I was away at college). I absolutely love animals! I adopted an older dog in 2022 who loves socializing with others. Due to his age and time spent in the shelter, he has anxiety of people going out in public, so I can’t take him out much. But when other dogs are around he THRIVES! I’d love to take your dogs on walks and get active with them! I live in a house, with a huge fenced in backyard. I’ve watched my friends dogs and have good references. My dog can tag along as well as he’s great with other animals to get socializing in! I can come to your place or you can drop your dog off at my place for the day or overnight! I have reliable transportation to drive to your home as well. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night and/or if I leave for a bit I can accommodate those needs!
