About: Hi! I'm Cindy, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I have a Veterinary Technician degree and experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication, or just lots of love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like they're my own I don't have a job currently, so I'm available 24/7 for all your pet's needs! I will love your animals as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and 2 well behaved dogs at home, I also have 2 cats. I have experience in kennel settings as well as veterinary clinics, so I know how to safely handle a variety of animals in all settings.
About: I love all animals and have owned my dog for 9 years! I have had many roommates in my life, who all had animals of their own. I love every animals personality. I am quick to learn behaviors and can accommodate whatever they may need :) I also have experience with cats, and love them all the same. I currently watch my coworkers dogs/cats while they're away, whenever they need, and would love to watch yours! I work evenings at the hospital, but have the mornings available for your furry friends. I can also leave work during breaks to visit if it's within a reasonable distance! I can easily follow instructions, and be flexible with whatever you need for your animal. I enjoy walks in all weather, and can make sure they are kept entertained :)
“Hailey brought her good energy to every interaction. She obviously had big love for dogs and took amazing care of my two boys on very short notice. She is an extra great communicator. All the good vibes coming from her made me extra comfortable that my dogs were spending time with her.”
About: First and foremost, I love animals and I am compassionate! I have walked, fed, watered, bathed, and entertained dogs since I was a young girl. Growing up, I have had a beagle, labradors, and a pit-bull. Family and friends trust me to take care of their pets and I have a dog of my own, a German Shepherd named Killian! We have been through basic training together and I am quite confident in my ability to connect with other pets! Choose me to walk/take care of your pet because of my experience and my passion for our furry friends! I am currently spending time with my mother before I return to teaching, so I am flexible with my routine! We can work something out to fit both of our schedules! In my own home, I feed my dog on a set schedule. I am very attentive to his needs regarding water, playing, naps, bathroom breaks, etc. I walk him daily and play fetch with him, as well. I make sure he receives healthy treats, bones, and food, and do not hesitate to research or reach out to a professional if his health or behavior appears different. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own, for I understand our deep connections and love with our pets.
About: I’ve had and helped care for all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember. Between birds, cats, dogs, lizards, and fish my family’s had them all! I understand the needs of them as well as understand each animal is unique in the care they need and deserve. I’ve worked as a kennel tech at the animal shelter and I’m comfortable administering medications and providing care for special needs. I am available any time for drop in visits for potty walks and cuddles. I am available during the day longer visits and play sessions as well. I’m available for care in your home and will provide individualized and undivided attention. I will adhere to your schedule and requested needs for your pet since you know your pet best.
About: I have been around animals and dogs my entire life, and I love them more than I like most humans. My first dog sitting job was my neighbors dog at 8 years old. Currently, I work as a behavior technician with children with developmental disabilities, and will soon have a masters degree in behavior analysis. This has aided me with training several dogs including puppies, as well as my own dog, of which is a certified service dog. I am able to understand an animals body language and behaviors and adapt quickly. Most people I know ask me first for the pet care needs, and I want to treat your pets as well as I treat my own! I work flexible hours, especially after 4pm. My weekends are typically free, and I rarely leave town! If you happen to have a special time request, I will happily try to accommodate it. I want you to feel as though you left your pet with a close family member or friend. I will be able to be contacted at any point of my service for you. As stated above, reading your pets body language and other cues will help me keep your pet safe and happy. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies so I may put your mind at ease when you are away!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
