In addition to furry friends, I enjoy caring for birds, fish, and reptiles. I have experience with training, feeding, and grooming lots of animals—but most importantly, I can be the friend your pet needs when you need to leave them behind. If you have an animal with specific challenges, just let me know. I have worked with adult rescue dogs, resolving leash aggression and managing food aggression. I go into the office 4 days/week, but my schedule is pretty flexible. Contact me and we can see if your needs are a good fit with my schedule and skills. About: I’ve owned dogs and taken care of family and friend’s for decades. I’m an animal lover of all types, but particularly man’s furry best friend! I work remote for a nonprofit and have plenty of flexibility within my schedule. Wednesday and Thursday nights I am unavailable, otherwise let’s chat and find time for your pup. I currently work a great schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off so on the days I have off I can take your dogs for walks, check on them, feed them and provide them with excellent care! I take my word and work seriously. It's the only thing I have. I'm aware of all the laws of walking dogs and dog park etiquette. Never been bitten or scared in any way.

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

About: I pride myself in being able to bond with any animal. I love all breeds of dogs, and I understand that a key aspect to their behavior is their exercise, diet, and social interactions. By choosing me, you are guaranteeing that you dog is getting the proper amount of exercise and social engagement. My own dogs do not go on just walks, but outings that always include them meeting other dogs and socializing, making for a happier, healthier, and friendlier pet. I have been around dogs since I was 7. I was given my first dog to take care of at 11, a German Shepherd, and I had him for 12 years. He was never crated, and walked at least once a day to ensure he wasn’t cooped up. I work from home as a marketing / social media manager, which gives me ample time to take any clients pet out as I am on a looser schedule and can accommodate to the pet versus the pet moulding to my schedule. I have my own room, as well as a full backyard to use for any dog. I will let them stay within my room if need be, as well and within my entire house if they are good with other dogs.

I have over 15 years of veterinary tech experience, and over 30 years of caring for animals. I’m currently in graduate school earning a MS in Public Health. i’m currently pet free, as I am waiting to finish my graduate program before I commit to another fur baby. I hope to get the much-needed animal time that I need with yours I currently work for myself as a private academic tutor and have flexibility. I try to update availability as often as possible however, I do have clients outside of this application that reach out last minute. I currently reside in Wildwood located in Avon. I have a small backyard and a deck for outside time in addition to close proximity to trails for longer walks.

I own two nanny and babysitting agencies where i work from home. My passions in life include teaching mindfulness and meditation, traveling, and seeing live music. Pet Care fits into my life very easily and fluidly because I work from home, build my own schedule, and can adapt to the needs of each day. About: I've taken care of dogs of all kind since I was in high school. Family friends and members of my community could always rely on me to provide quality care to their furry friends. I'm currently working full time in Avon, but am still available for house-sitting, before (8:30am) or after work hours (5pm) or weekend care! I can be flexible as needed. I always like to make sure I follow the routine and procedures the pets and owners are most comfortable with, since it is there home after all!
